  • Norwegian Cruise Lines collect health questionnaires at the pier to identify anyone that already has symptoms and place detailed health information fact sheets in each stateroom at embarkation. These fact sheets outline potential symptoms of concern and instructs guests on what to do if they are experiencing those symptoms.
  • Once onboard, Norwegian Cruise Lines recommends and requests that all guests carefully observe the good hygiene practice of washing their hands before eating and after using the restroom. They also encourage frequent use of the hand sanitizer dispensers strategically located throughout the ship.

The Bad

  • High cover fees for restaurants
  • Long lines for all activities
  • Can be very crowded

High Fees and Long Lines

Norwegian's specialty restaurants charge a $15 to $99 per person cover fee apart from the cost of the meals. Expect to stand in long lines for all activities onboard including dining options. Announcements are frequent and loud.

Large Crowds

Accommodations in standard cabins are a bit smaller than other cruise lines. Since Norwegian ships can accommodate a large number of guests, expect large crowds. If this is a problem for you, you can choose to upgrade to a first-class section where it is more spacious to get around.

No Offshore Excursions

Offshore excursions are not included in the price. Be prepared to pay lots of extra charges for dining options, beverages, and some of the activities during the length of your cruise.

The Bottom Line

Norwegian Cruise Lines is a great choice for family-friendly entertainment. The freestyle cruising experience provided by Norwegian Cruise Lines allow families to relax and enjoy their vacation without being tied down to strict rules. The only downsides are the long lines and expensive meals. However, there are plenty of activities for children, teenagers, and adults to enjoy. Norwegian Cruise Lines is also an excellent choice for single passengers as well as an inexpensive way to travel to desired exotic locations worldwide. We recommend booking a cruise with Norwegian Cruise Lines.

We LOVE Norwegian. We do a sailing every year, and prefer Norwegian over any other cruise line. We love the entertainment, the dining experiences, and most especially the "free style" experience, which allows us to do everything at our own pace. I do not want "regiment" or limitations that are almost inevitable on other cruise lines. From the time that one begins the booking process, all of the employees are friendly, helpful and knowlegable. Upon arriving at the embarcation and boarding the ship, everyone makes you feel like royalty! I guess that this is why we choose to "Sail Like A Norwegian"!

I've been on two Norwegian cruises, NYC to Bermuda, and they were spectacular. You can eat where and when you like, with whomever you like. No assigned tables, or dinner hour. It feels like a vacation, where you can decide whatever you want to do each minute of the day. So many activities on the ship, I seldom feel the need to get off of it. Love, love, love Norwegian! Wish I could go on a Norwegian cruise every year!! The food is top-notch, and I'm a foodie. The specialty restaurants are wonderful, but I also love breakfast and lunch in the regular dining rooms. The food is so fresh and excellent everywhere on the ship. I can't think of a single negative to cruising on Norwegian.

We have been on 18 cruises with NCL and are leaving this month for a transatlantic on the Escape, now we are expecting a few problems as this ship is being built as I am typing this but if you go into a cruise knowing this you will plan for it. We usually have no problem with dining as you can make reservations if you please and it makes it very easy or you can chose to freestyle which NCL is known for. You just have to be aware that you might have to wait for a bit just like any restaurant at home or abroad. I had one major problem with the primary review, which restaurant do they charge $99 for a meal. We have eaten at all the restaurants and never once have we paid that. I would like to know where that is and what it is!!!! You do not have to pay extra for your meals, that is only if you chose to, there are restaurants where all the meals are included and we make sure we eat there just to make sure what they are serving and we love them.

I have been on many cruises with NCL and have not had a bad one. I find the food at both the buffet(s) and the specialty restaurants very good. I love the freestyle cruising aspect in that we can do whatever we want whenever we want. Our son and his family went with us on a recent cruise and our granddaughter loved it so much because of all the children's activities she is always on the lookout for suitcases because she cannot wait to go on the "big boat" again. We have been to the Caribbean a number of times, to Europe, to Alaska, and enjoyed them all. We always stay in the Haven or a suite, but don't think it is necessary to have a good time in that there are so many beach chairs on the surrounding deck areas. I believe cruising is the perfect vacation. Your "hotel" has over 20 restaurants, a theater, live broadway-like shows, a casino, a number of pools, a private spa area, a gymnasium, - and you wake up in a different city/country every morning. What more could anyone possibly desire!

NCL is the best cruise line!! I do not listen to bad reviews, I make my own decisions once I cruise. I recently went on the Breakaway last month and there were so many bad reviews, but let me tell you, it was the best vacation/cruise we have ever went on. Yes the pool area was crowded but we were lucky enough to purchase the VIBE and didn't even notice that. We never waited in line for anything including the Garden Cafe. For those that complain, don't go on it!!! We went to all the Specialty Restaurants, had the Drink package and all in all it was a stressfree, awesome vacation. Way to Go NCL!!!!!!

Our 2 out of 3 cruise experiences with NCL was wonderful!! Had a wonderful time on the Gem !! Food was decent (surprised) and service was great!! Only complaint was the handicapped accessible oceanview room was too small for my husband to turn the scooter around making it very UNaccessible!! I called the desk and they were able to switch rooms to a balcony handicapped accessible cabin. That's a good reason for people to make sure that if you truly DO NOT need a handicapped room...please leave it for people who do!!! Thank goodness we were able to switch! Our experience on the Breakaway was a disaster!! NOT handicapped friendly!! Way too big and guests were so rude!! Only 2 banks of elevators and trying to get one in a scooter was nearly impossible b/c people would run to the first open door and not hold it for someone who had been waiting in a wheelchair or scooter!! Our aft balcony cabin was spacious enough, however, there were still bugs to work out regarding the handicapped door that would not open when button was pushed!! Couldn't get out of room!! Service in the dining room was awful and dinner took over 2 hours!!! Missed a lot of shows!! Our cruise on the Jewel was nice. We have another cruise booked . on the Pearl to Panama Canal.

We've been on two cruises with Norwegian. We had a lot of fun and the service was wonderful. The staff are very courteous and helpful. Logistics are handled very well. We were able to board and disembark easily as we started and ended our cruises and at each destination. The food was very good and the dining flexibility is a real plus. We utilized the walking deck extensively, visited the weight room, and enjoyed the game and pool areas. The entertainment in the evenings was fun. We also enjoyed dancing and listening to pianists, singers, guitarists, etc.

We just got off the Dawn from our 7 day cruise from Boston to Bermuda. It was our fourth on the Dawn, and it lived up to all our expectations. We upgraded to the Family Suite which was so much bigger than our past Mid-ship Mini Suite. Loved having a Concierge and Butler. The food was great. Cagney's was the best. The Moderno the least. Its been better in the past at Moderno. Personnel - Had a great dinner at the Italian restaurant with the Hotel Director and Cruise Director. Had one bad experience with a bar server. It was at Gatsbys. An Asian woman, as we were sitting so close to the bar where the servers came to get their drink orders...I motioned (as the piano was playing and loudly) we needed drinks, she completely ignored us. After about a 1/2 hour and several more attempts to get her to get us drinks, we left. Went to our favorite bar, the Bimini, where we were served by Irene. She was awesome. Always friendly and attentive to our needs. Speaking of awesome.....Janice at the Cagney's Steakhouse was so so so nice. Very personable, friendly, and there for us whenever we needed her. We already have our next one planned in Oct 2016. See you then. Thank you NCL for providing us with yet another phenomenal vacation.

Another great time on a Norwegian Cruise. This time it was the Quebec to Boston Cruise which was fantastic. As always the crew members were very professional and made us feel welcomed. It is amazing how they can keep up the smiles and energy. It is also a nice touch that so many crew members go out their way to address passengers by name. We also like the "free style" concept. It is great if you are flexible and do not want to follow a rigid schedule especially for dining.

We loved NCL. We took our first cruise to Bermuda with Norwegian and everything was spectacular and everyone was so friendly. The staterooms were very nice and the entertainment was wonderful. In June we went on a cruise of the Southern Caribbean on another cruise line and it just did not measure. On NCL you have the freestyle dining and that is the best. We cannot wait until April when we again go NCL to the Bahamas. We have many different cruise lines to choose from and we choose NCL

We took a cruise on the Norwegian Pearl when it was just a baby ship.Nothing could have been nicer. Our stateroom..the food(loved the buffet),the staff..the entertainment, and the shops were the best..We felt pampered the entire week. There was nothing we could have wished for that we did not get.It would be fabulous to take another Norwegian cruise sometime in the near future.

We have sailed on NCL's Epic, Spirit and Dawn and loved all three. Most recently the Dawn to Bermuda. We love the specialty restaurants, the food is great. Never a dull moment, activities and shows all day long. The staff is beyond friendly and our butler was exceptional. We stay in suites to enjoy the extra amenities they have to offer. We next sail Augut 2016 - counting the days !

I think with NCL (like any cruise line) many things are ala carte. Cruises typically are not all inclusive. Though NCL does have things like Wi-Fi, drinks, shore excursion credits etc. that can be included when booking certain rooms. We have cruised NCL about 9 or 10 times, from the large ships such as the Epic (Trans Atlantic) to the mid-size ships such as the Jewel.(Panama Canal). Service and amenities was good on each ship (though we would like to see washers and dryers on each ship.) We do cruise with other cruise lines from time to time, depending on overall value and itinerary (such as the South Pacific, which NCL does not sail to.) But, we are off to the Mediterranean on NCL in 2016.

My husband and I went from NY to Bermuda in sept 2014. we have cruised quite a bit and this was our first Norwegian experience. Everything was perfect. It was so clean, fun, beautiful, friendly spacious. I loved eating when we wanted to and where we wanted. so much to choose from. Our best experience in 20 years of various cruises! Norwegian is our new 'go to' cruise line and we hope to book another cruise soon!!

This was our first cruise with Norwegian. Just returned from a week on the Pearl to Alaska. Staff were friendly, balcony room was plenty big, activities were plentiful and lots of fun. I didn't eat at any of the specialty restaurants but if you couldn't find something to eat to your liking I don't know what you were looking for. My only complaint was the length of time in a couple of ports. Ketchikan was way too short and we didn't get to see Victoria BC in very much daylight. Overall it was a great trip and I'm ready to do it again. Loved Norwegian and they loved me back!!!

We sail with Norwegian every year. I have sailed on other cruise lines, but none have had the personal service that Norwegian has. We actually have two more cruises booked, and will almost certainly keep sailing with this company for years to come. We only have two weeks per year to take a real break from the reality that is "the job". We prefer to be in the company of "fellow Norwegians" who enjoy terrific dining, terrific entertainment and wonderful accomodations.

Third time sailing with NCL. For starters they gave me a first timer card when I am a lattitudes member. Compliment: Staff was great and attentive. Very nice and prompt when you had a request. Complaint: The Breakaway is just way too big for my liking. They did away with the smoking side of the ship like they had on previous ships. You had to be lucky to get a seat at the pool bar in order to smoke or be relegated to their "smoking booth". Long waits at elevators, and even longer waits for "freestyle" dining which I totally loved on the previous cruises. I will continue to cruise NCL, but not on the huge ships. Will stick to the smaller ones!

I have cruised on NCL's Epic to Spain, France and Italy. On NCL's Getaway to the Caribbean. On NCL's Sun...twice to the Caribbean and just last week I cruised to Alaska on the Jewel. NCL is Great! Each cruise was wonderful! This is my only cruise line. Whatever you choose to do onboard or on an excruision, it will be great. After each cruise I leave with sadness because the crew makes you feel like family. Food is great, entertainment is tops and service is the BEST! Shore excursions, too!

We have taken several cruises with Norwegian and I find it hard to even look at other cruise lines. I like the freedom, the upgrades and the way we are treated. I found negative reviews and comments by cruises who apparently did not read the materials they were sent. I did my homework and we have enjoyed a cruise to Alaska, Mexico, Jamaica, and an extended cruise in Western Europe. We enjoyed the Haven, speciality dinner packages, chef's table, photograph sessions, the spa, private sundecks, educational excursions and all around excellent service. On our cruise through Europe, a waitress from our cruise to Alaska recognized us, addressed us by name and went out of her way to make sure our Europe cruise was one we would remember for many years to come.

I had an absolute blast when I went on a cruise on Norwegian Cruise Line. Love my land excursions as well as trips out and about .. wine tours, fun in the sun, a great guide who I accidentally lost touch with who was from England. The food was great as well as everything else on the cruise. A group of guys asked me if I wanted to join them .. as it was just me in the bar area .. at a huge table .. so I did join them .. and they were the band for the cruise .. and loved the tours that were not touristry .. but rather .. from their experience. One thing I learned on the cruise is not to wear a pearl ring in the pool .. as the water ends up making the pearl float off of your setting ... never to be found again. The cruise was fantastic, met a lot of very nice singles, couples, and the band .. all very cherished memories .. would love to do this again ... as it was very relaxing ....and the food was wonderful!! Great service with a smile, they care about you as a person. I would definitely go again .. and have been thinking of doing this within the year. Highly recommend Norwegian Cruise Lines .. it was a great time!!

My favorite line out there. I've never had a better time then on them and I've sailed on several lines. If there is a problem it is taken care of immediately and with great service. I don't care for their ship Epic as much as the others. I can understand why they scrapped that style and went with another. I can't wait to go again and have always been so happy I end up booking a prepay before I leave the ship so I know I will return. Thanks for such good times!

We took Mom and sister on the NCL Jewel to Alaska in August. The cruise included Ketchikan, Juneau and Skagway along with the inner passage going by glaciers. This cruise is fantastic, not only the scenery, but NCL makes it even more enjoyable with the food and entertainment never stopping and the best time for all to enjoy. Salmon bake, totem and forest tour along with shopping and even the whore house in Skagway is a DO NOT MISS... the best excursion is the train ride White Pass Railway a must see. They have the best tour guides.

Sailed the Breakaway from NYC to Bermuda- liked the ship but found the pool area very small- did not like that if I wanted to go to the private pool area it cost $20.00 per day- if you sail on this ship make sure to pre book all shows- you need reservations for all special shows- the theater shows were great & no reservations required- the food in all the free restaurants were great but would like the vegetarian items marked and a few more choices for veggies- did not go to the buffet for any meals- too crowded & noisy. had the comp beverage package & it was easy to use & the drinks were good..the staff in all areas were terrific- loved the show Fire & Ice in the Atrium but they should have had more seating- these performers are wonderful.and always drew of hugh crowd. I like the smaller ships better but would try this one again -

I have been on NCL for the past 3 years and 4th cruise is booked for Nov 2015. I always have a good time on NCL and all the employees are very friendly. I really enjoy that each room steward we have had respected our request. I know I should try other cruise lines, but I love NCL--"freestyle cruising" I live in my summer attire of shorts and shirt don't need to dress up for a cruise when I am on vacation. The food is good most of the time and even if there is something I don't like if I keep looking they do have something I like.

we love our cruise it was our first time and we asked a lot of questions that they answered without being rude we only had one problem it was with the comedian he made a couple of inappropriate racial jokes that were just not very tasteful. we are hoping to get another one from our casino this year done have the cruise planned room booked. we had a penthouse last time we downgraded to mini suite .. they have some really good specials on the cruise ship , the shore excursions were great i loved all mine .. tip if u don't want to be harassed by the shop keepers from quite a few jewelry stores don't wear your jewelry in port tell them u don't like jewelry and they go back in there shops one shop keeper yelled it and the rest when in so it is fun haggle your prices all shops start high and go lower

As a first time cruiser, we have been truly satisfied. Our trip to Bermuda is such a good destination. My husband and I have been in dreaming to have a real honeymoon. With the big help of the Splash Academy, almost kids free vacation is possible and the "real honeymoon" was in the air. Breakaway, has such a mint clean, sanitized environment with a jaw dropping feeling. I think, the all the staff had been selected by the friendly personality. The only think we are complaining about not catching the all entertaining schedule during the vacation. For my personal opinion, Bermuda should be 3 nights and the vacation should be 10 days....I think we will plan ahead to get another vacation with NCL.... Sincerely, Debra from Solace Home Design

We have had at least 6 cruises on NCL and have loved everyone. They are the kindest crew and have always been very helpful in anything we have had trouble with. We tend to like the smaller ships as we have done a few of the bigger ones but children running all over the place and if they run into you - no excuse me and no parent around. We have two cruises with them in 2016 and both are during non - school vacation weeks. They are the best! As for the person edd - I have never heard of any ship using ship credits for tips. Cannot wait to go on my next cruise I January. You Are Awesome - NCL!

Our first NCL cruise was last year in Italy. We stayed in the Haven and have decided the only way to cruise! Our accommodations were great, loved the Haven courtyard amenities, our butler, Rufino, was the best. The excursions offered were great, although pricey, so we booked in every port. The only negative we experienced was the poor attitude of our concierge, he did not like us bothering him with questions and he was very confused about the free 250 minutes Internet, he was not aware of it until we questioned, then he checked and discovered we were right. We are cruising NCL in 2016 from Barcelona and will be staying in Haven again. The only way to cruise!

We have booked out third cruise with Norwegian. I have never been on another but I am a little scared to do so. We have never had bad service, rooms were always clean and freshened daily, sometimes twice daily. On the second cruise we went back to the same restaurant almost every night because of this one waiter and the excellent service. Boats have always been clean and fun. Can;t wait to go on again. LOVED the no reservations. We waited only 10 minutes max for a table. The food was so good on the Getaway we never cared about going to the other pay restaurants. We have been to the eastern Caribbean, western Caribbean and off to Bermuda.

We just came off the Norwegian Getaway and had a wonderful time. This ship is beautiful and we never had a problem being seated at dinner, food was very good. Our cabin was very spacious and clean. The crew on this ship has to be the most friendly, outgoing crew we have found on any cruise line. From booking to disembarking, I have not one complaint.

NCL Star - 2 Week Cruise to Norway - June 2015 I was on the Star in 2013 for a 9 day cruise to the Baltic's and said I would never cruise NCL again. So while I was looking for my next trip, which would be to Norway, lo and behold which cruise company and ship come up with the best itinerary going as well as a great price. NCL and the Star. I took it because, at the very least, I felt NCL did a phenomenal job of getting us on and off the boats in port and I really wanted that itinerary. Let me tell you, my experience this time around was great. Not that the last time was horrible. The ship was disappointing from unfinished balconies and workman in the room making the balconies unusable after painting (for several days). Then again, the ship isn't known for the quality of its food. That much hadn't changed but since both of us in the room weren't planning on eating binges the quality of food didn't affect us as much. Con: Room service now has a fee of $7.95. Apparently implemented a couple cruises before ours. That limited our use of the service. I will say when we did order, our order was huge and I used baggies I brought to save items like PB&J sandwiches and chips for the next day. It worked out pretty well. Con: Food is still so so. Con: The bed was really uncomfortable and lumpy. Our steward was great and brought us a couple of foam mattress pad toppers which helped a lot. We loved our steward. Pro: This time and last. The ship's crew are outstanding. Pro: I ordered the room decorated and with a cake as I was taking my niece for her first trip to Europe. The room looked great and when the cake came, instead of the 10" cake I was expecting, we got this huge, beautiful Bon Voyage cake. It was way too big but cool and we shared it with our steward. Pro: The itinerary was great. It even hit a place on my bucket list I never really expected to get to. Reine, Norway in the Lofoton Islands. Everyone should go there. Pro: We really loved the finale show in the theater on the last night. Pro: It's easy to get around the ship and not overly crowded. Pro: Took our first shore excursions with the ship and they were each great. I was really surprised at how good they were. One was to Trollstigen and was an 8 hour bus tour. I really worried about how uncomfortable a trip that long would be as I have medical conditions that sitting for a long time can bring up. Turns out we stopped frequently at all the right locations and had a chance to walk around and take pics. Lunch was a great buffet where tables were all prepared for each bus as they came in. No trouble what so ever in getting a seat and food. Really enjoyed the excursions. I would have written reviews but by the time I got back they were no longer on the site to do so. If I remember, I will try next year when they open up on the NCL site. We rented cars at 3 ports and in 2 the cars were delivered to the dock for us. Don't be afraid to drive and explore. It's a blast. All in all this trip changed my mind about NCL and I will continue to use them although my next trip is with Royal Caribbean as they had the better itinerary for Christmas 2016. Sorry NCL. For me it's all about the itinerary.

Our best cruise experience was on NCL. The ship was wonderful but what made this and A1 trip was the staff. I don't care what their station was professionally they would stop everything to make sure you were comfortable or able to find what you needed. No other line was this accomadating. The staff remembers you and actually start to treat you like family. Asking about your excursions, comfort, etc. I wish I could always cruise with NCL. Wish they left out of Charleston SC or Norfolk VA so we didn't have the long drive (hubby won't fly) but the drive is worth the extra love we get on NCL.

We've taken two cruises on Norwegian one to Alaska, one to the Western Caribbean and can't imagine using any other cruise line. Service and food were exceptional, accommodations were what we expected for the price we paid. Activities were plentiful to choose from both those provided by the cruise line and those you had to pay extra for. The beauty of Norwegian is that you make your cruise what you want it to be. There are specialty restaurants that are not included in the price of the cruise and just like any other dining out experience you get what you pay for, be an informed consumer before you make a reservation. Prices for all extra activities are available before you book your cruise. We had a wonderful time on both of our cruises and would highly recommend Norwegian to anyone wanting to cruise!

We have cruised on the Pride of Hawaii when it was new and then on the Jade (same ship). We loved every minute of our cruises. The food was excellent everywhere we ate. You do have to pay for the speciality dinning but it is well worth it. We are going on the Getaway in September 2015 and I can't wait. We love NCL. We have cruised another cruise line but will stick with NCL if they are going where we want to go. You can dress up if you like or if you are like us and prefer to be casual while on vacation you can do that.

we had a great time on the breakaway on June 14th.Everthing was great. we celebrated my husbands birthday on the 19th and our 56th wedding anniversary on the 20th. the restaurants were great and even gave us a cake. we got everything we asked for. The only thing we found was that there was nothing to do in the morning, but we were there with my Grandson and the band Kartune and you left them play twice by the pool. they are a great band. Thanks again.

I love NCL - my husband and I have been on Royal Caribbean and NCL is head and shoulders above them in both quality and service. I'll never cruise with any other cruise line except Disney which is outrageously expensive. The restaurants on NCL are fantastic and we've never had long lines to get into any restaurant whether it is included or a premium. The food in the inclusive restaurants are just as good (and in some cases better) than the premium ones. I highly recommend NCL and if you believe that RCL is the same with their so called "anytime dining" you are sadly mistaken. It is not the same as freestyle. You are assigned the same restaurant, at the same time with the same people around you. Freestyle really is any time and any place. Love NCL.

I recently went on a Norwegian cruise 6-19-15. I've been on Norwegian several times before, but this one was awesome! The others were good too, but this was great! We had a choice of three things to pick from for specials, we took the specialty dining, it was awesome, it really added to the enjoyment of the cruise. It was let eating in a resturant every night. Excellent service! Our cabin steward was also very good and helpful! Thank you for an awesome vacation!

We are regular cruisers and we love the "free style" of Norwegian. We do not mind the extra cost of the specialty dining, we prefer to choose when and where we dine. We also find the crew and Norwegian friendlier, and do not know how they do that as we are sure they are paid more than other lines? If Norwegian sails the itinerary we want we choose Norwegian!

My first time every being on a cruise was with Norwegian and it was best first experience ever ! They set the bar really high, the staff were amazing and they even had a teen corner where you could hang with other young people and play video games. Their private beach was GORGEOUS.

We loved our cruise on Norwegian. Best parts: our ship (the Getaway), the food, the fitness room, the staff, the itinerary through the Bahamas. Their app that we were told to use for texting within our group when on the ship wasn't exactly awesome, but it wasn't bad enough to mar the trip that much.

We have sailed with Norwegian 3 times, was supposed to go last year on Pride, but wife had accident just prior to boarding (had travel protection, no problems getting refund). We had sailed on Gem 3 times, going on Breakaway next month. Really enjoy our time on board. Enjoyed tour of ship, on shore trips, shows, dining everything! Staff could not have been nicer. Even love the smiley washie washie girl!!! Already looking towards next years cruise or 2.

They really screwed me on one of their cruises. There were 6 of us, including my 6 month pregnant daughter. One of the excursions did not mention anything about not good for a pregnant person. When we boarded the 3 hr bus tour, we had to get off within 5 min of the bus leaving. It was NOT air conditioned, like a sardine can... I paid $300+ a couple for all of us for the excursion and they would not do a thing since the driver said we boarded the bus and should not get any restitution whatsoever. He claimed we were on the bus longer than 5 min, but it NEVER left the NCL port at all. Letters back and forth proved futile and got transferred all over the NCL Corp office. Now, I compare all cruise lines before ever booking another NCL.

I can't say enough about how great NCL has been. Has everything been perfect? Not always, but get real, they are taking care of thousands of people. Seems like all the complainers want a cheap trip, yet still be treated like a celebrity. The staff has always been wonderful on our 5 NCL cruises. The shows are good and the food is fine. If you don't like how your kids were treated, go on a disney cruise. I don't want to see your kids anyway. Thanks NCL, love you.

I really really love this cruise, we went in a family trip, my two daughters and me, we had a nice and beautiful time, we went on 4th of July weekend in 2015 and really relax, enjoy the time and no hurry to eat, you eat and cruise your own way... I love it, and will go again.

My husband and I have been on two Norwegian cruises and four other cruises with other lines. We enjoyed the freedom of Norwegian and the programs and entertainment more than on any other cruise line. The dining fare is excellent too and we could choose when and which dining room we wanted to have a meal. We always had a great breakfast in the dining room when we did not have a deadline for a shore tour. The cafeteria has great meals but it is always more than busy and not relaxing.
