- Register items
- Expensive beverages
- Customer complaints
All valuables are required to be registered at the time of reception for safekeeping in a safety deposit box. The company is not responsible for any missing belongs that are not registered,. Travelers are responsible for researching and purchasing their own travel protection insurance. Bhaya Cruises does not provide these services.
The soft drinks and alcoholic beverages are expensive aboard the cruise line. The company only provides a few complimentary bottles, including water. Guests may want to consider purchasing beverage items at ports of call. The food aboard the ship is of average quality according to previous customers, and nothing to brag about.
Previous customers also stated that activities onboard could be better as well. Activities scheduled for the second day of a cruise are done on a separate ship the company contracts out to, so be prepared ahead of time for a ship change. The company is not upfront with their passengers regarding this information. Some passengers also complained concerning the quality of cleanliness in the cabins and in certain decks of the ships. However, these complaints were few and far between.
Limited Food Options
Food options are limited aboard the ship, but of decent quality. Customers would have liked to see more variety as most of the meals center around Vietnamese flavors. This is not a concern if you plan to do most of your dining away from the ship. Also, the charges per day can also be expensive especially since they do not last as long as other cruise options. Prices are broken down as follows:
- Two Day/One Night Cruise: $169-$499/per person
- Three Day/2Night Cruise: $322-$619/per person
Not a Relaxing Environment
The ships are not a good choice for passengers who seek a private setting to relax and unwind. The ship was designed for large groups with plenty of socializing. If you are seeking a more intimate voyage, you may want to consider another cruise line option that best suits your needs. There are no high-energy activities for kids as compared to other popular cruise lines, so you may want to keep this is in mind if you are planning a family vacation.
