Mobile Apps

Zoho CRM offers apps for Android and iOS users which helps users to stay in touch with their customers even when they are on the go. With Zoho mobile app users can access sales records, see the actions of their customers, and send invitations directly from their mobile device. Users of Zoho have the option to  integrated with other Google apps such as Docs, Gmail, Calendar, Contacts, and Tasks.

Multichannel Support

Zoho CRM allows businesses to connect with their customers via email, live chat, phone and through social media. Zoho CRM categorizes customers as leads and contacts based on their behaviors on social media, which allows users to make new connections and discover new leads.

Limitations on Free Edition

There are several drawbacks for using free edition of Zoho CRM. The free edition doesn't offer a lot of option for customization of the CRM to the needs of the business. If a users wants to add custom reports, customized functions and additional modules they will need to purchase a more expensive edition.

Limited Customer Support

Zoho offers many way to reach customer support for the users who are paying for their services; however, the free edition is limited to the email support only. If users are looking to speak to Zoho customer representative immediately they do not have the option to use their phone number which is available for payed users only from Monday to Friday.

The Bottom Line

Zoho is a software system that specializes in business productivity apps to help the users to be better connected to their customers. Multiple pricing options and simple integration with others apps allows the users to be more organized and prepared on the go; however, even though free edition might be an incentive to choose Zoho CRM system, users soon will find that limitations to customer support and customization features might not be worth it.

I use Zoho for work and feel like it is not a very good tool- but unfortunately is the best I can find. While there are some options to customize, it is a far way from entirely customizable. There are a lot of options that you can’t get rid of. Their email and communication system is garbage and onboarding is complicated. That being said- good like trying to find something better.

Zoho is a very low cost of entry and is perfect when you are just getting started on their free version. But as you grow it grows with you. For any business, their zoho one suite is a no-brainer, with CRM, books, help desk, sign and more. This CRM does everything I've ever needed one to do and more. I'll stay away from the excessive SFDC and stick with Zoho
