Salesforce offers its software to small, midsize and enterprise organizations, with a focus on sales and support. Salesforce strives to help its users to find and keep customers, close sales, and grow their business.

Mobile App

Salesforce offers a mobile app that allows users to be organized and productive on the go. The app is very similar to the desktop version of Salesforce, which makes it really simple to use it on your mobile device. The Salesforce app allows the users to access contacts and social profiles, sales and lead-generation tools, files, and much more. Also, users have the ability to update their team on the status of the sales no matter where they are.

CRM Features

Salesforce developed many different features to help every type of business to improve and to grow. Contact management and lead generation features allows the users to improve their sales efforts and increase their revenue. Forecasting and reports features are a great way to update the whole team on how the business is doing overall. And collaboration features make it easier for each member of the team to update each other on the status of their sales efforts.

Salesforce customer service offers toll free phone numbers and live chat feature to assist their users in any complications they might have with the software system. In addition to the customer service contact information, Salesforce offers a link to the company's Success Services page, which includes training, one on one help, YouTube page, where you can watch how-to videos and demos of Salesforce.

Complex CRM for a Small Business

Some of the strengths of Salesforce might also be some of the weaknesses of this CRM system for a small business. Even though multiple features and customizable options can be a great way to organize and build your business, some small businesses might find that this software to be very complex. This might be the case for businesses that might not have a designated sales team or businesses that might need something simpler to keep a close connection with their contacts.

Compared to our previous CRM, it is not very good. Features are hard to use, ability to build out new options isn’t that great, and customer service has not been great.

Great CRM tool that is very easy to train new users on and adopt across an entire organization. The customer support is very good which is extremely important when integrating such a complex tool across a number of different departments

I use Sales Force for my job, and I do think it does it jobs well. We are able to manage huge amounts of customers efficiently and effectively. It is also very customizable. I don't know if it is Sales Forces fault, or our own IT department, but some simple commands don't work.
