Soxy specializes in socks with unique designs for men and women, as well as men’s shoes, shoelaces, and belts.
Brothers Albert and Boris Vaisman founded Soxy in 2014. The company ships its products worldwide, having delivered more than 1 million pairs of socks to more than 40 countries around the world.
Soxy employs a direct-to-consumer model and holds its manufacturers to high ethical and quality standards. Soxy socks are produced in Seoul, South Korea. The company’s Bold Society Shoes are produced in Guimaraes, Portugal, and its belts are produced in Sao Joao da Madeira, Portugal.
Soxy socks are made of 75 percent combed cotton, 20 percent polyester, and 5 percent Spandex.
Soxy sells sock designs that can’t be found anywhere else. According to its website, Soxy sells more than 1,000 one-of-a-kind styles. The company prides itself on designing socks that help its customers express themselves and their unique styles.
Most individual pairs of Soxy socks cost about $14 to $16, but the company also sells bundles of multiple pairs of socks at a discounted rate. For example, customers could buy a pair of men’s St. Patrick’s Day dress socks for $14, or a bundle of five pairs of men’s St. Patrick’s Day dress socks for $60. This would save the customer $10 off the total, compared to buying five individual pairs.
Customers can enter their phone number on the Soxy website to join the company’s VIP club and receive weekly deals via text for 50 percent to 90 percent off.
Soxy offers a subscription option for customers who want to buy socks on a regular basis. Customers can choose to receive a box of socks every one, two, or three months. Every fifth box of socks is free, and Sock Club members save $10 on each shipment.
Subscribers can change their delivery frequency, skip a delivery, or cancel their subscription easily. And Soxy promises that subscribers will never receive the same sock design twice.
Soxy’s shipping rates are low and simple. Orders under $50 delivered to the United States or Canada cost $5 to ship. Orders over $50 delivered to the United States or Canada ship for free.
Orders under $50 delivered internationally cost $10 to ship, while orders over $50 cost $5 to ship.
These flat-rate prices are easy to understand, and lower than what many companies charge to ship orders. Additionally, Soxy’s threshold for free shipping in the United States and Canada is lower than many other companies’.
Overnight shipping is available by contacting Soxy directly.
Soxy socks are one size fits all. Men’s socks fit sizes 7–13 US, 40–46 EU, and 6–12 UK. Women’s socks fit sizes 5–10 US, 36–21 EU, and 3–8 UK. Customers whose foot size falls outside of these ranges may find that Soxy socks don’t fit them well.
Soxy accepts only unworn socks with their original packaging for returns. Returns must be initiated within 14 days.
Soxy does allow customers to try on a pair of socks from a bundle and return the rest, as long as the other pairs are unworn.
Customers who return socks must pay for their return shipping if they want a full refund, or they can receive a return label from Soxy for a $10 fee.
Exchanges must also include the original packaging and be initiated within 14 days.
While Soxy accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, PayPal, and Apple Pay, the company does not accept payment through DIscover, which can pose problems for those who only have Discover cards.
