Academy Award winner, actress, style icon, entrepreneur and businesswoman, these are just some of the hats worn by Reese Witherspoon. Now another hat will be worn as Witherspoon is launching a new company called Draper James, a lifestyle brand inspired by her Southern heritage and traditions. The brand offers clothes, jewelry, accessories and home decor items. Every piece is Witherspoon approved.

"I've gone through so many things over and over again...there's a lot of care and love in this project," said Witherspoon. "And I don't get involved unless I am touching everything, and seeing it. Because it's also my family name. Draper James is my grandmother's name and my grandfather's name put together."

Witherspoon has been working on this project for three years. She is joining a long list of celebrities who are getting into the lifestyle business, including Jessica Alba, Gwyneth Paltrow and Blake Lively. Witherspoon said some of her favorite pieces from her collection are the handbags, which range in price from $155 to $325. Maybe her most favorite is the stationary, which includes thank you notes with Southern sayings printed on them.

"Ever since I as a little girl, I always wanted to have a stationery store, always," says Witherspoon. "I've been obsessed with stationery and monograms. There's something about Southern girls and monograms, we literally-if its not moving, we monogram it."

Good news for the US worker, over 70% of Draper James products are manufactured here in the good ole USA. The goal is to eventually have 100% of all the products made in the US. The company will open its first retail store in Nashville in the fall.
