There isn’t enough room here to detail the months long fiasco I endured at the phone and store lines of VERIZON. I switched from AT&T (no issues) d/t VERIZON's business plan and getting a Google Pixel 7Pro. I love Pixel and was only one phone. I was in transit from FL to AZ and started to recognize issues early on. I stopped in LA store and was told 'needs a special SIM card’ - replaced. (Totally bogus) and router phone line added (which did not happen in FL for some reason.) By the time I get to TX, no internet and patchy phone reception. At this point, I’ve been on the phone for hours with VERIZON resetting, removing, reinstalling SIM cards etc, etc. I return the router and use T-Mobile wifi - problem solved. Pixel issues go on for weeks. I spend many hours at AZ store and on phone getting transferred, re-re-re explaining, trying to get the mess straightened out. Every imaginable problem and a few ridiculous ones were blamed - tower, settings, SIM cards, Google, Pixel (yes I spoke to Google too.) Finally I say take it back and refund my money. 'Oh we can't do that. It's past your warranty but we can sell you another phone.’ Weeks of run around and that is response?! I keep pushing for refund and VERIZON finally acknowledges some 'issues' between Pixel 7 and VERIZON yet still refuse to refund me. Desperate, I go to T-mobile who easily add both numbers to Pixel but VERIZON won't release one! I finally sold the Pixel to a third party, bought a different phone and canceled VERIZON. I am out about $900 and countless hours. The very slick and over-priced VERIZON mega-scam has mastered corporate profiteering and responsibility deflection. Since I switched to T-Mobile, I actually have regular service and get follow-up calls to see how things are going. So RUN FROM VERIZON. It may have been a good choice once but those days are long over. Nothing there now but irresponsible greed.

Switched because they gave Veteran discount, but very disappointed. I only travel to work and then I’m usually home. Unfortunately, Verizon does not provide coverage at my place of business. I never have any service in my house is very spotty. Once my contract is up, I will be looking for a new company again. Also, even with the discount for the military it’s still too expensive for just one line.

I have had nothing but trouble with Verizon since transferring over from T Mobile. While the signal strength is good. Nothing else has been. They made an error on my account which created an invoice for something random which was not linked to my auto billing and subsequently effected my credit rating. Also, it took 3 months for them to send out the iwatch. Lastly, after requesting International Call add ons and believing I had it set up with my account I was invoiced an additional $400 for international calls. I will be terminating my Verizon contract and buy the phone outright and return tot mobile. I don't trust Verizon at all.

Verizon constantly has a “Bait & Switch” tactic! I am on the phone with them every month, about hidden charges, that keep popping up on our account. We have been with them since 2008. Back then, it seemed to be a good company. Now (especially in the last 2 years), there have been a lot of hidden charges that they keep adding to our account. We have been in Florida for 5 years, & purchased all 4 phones here in Florida. However, they have 2 of our phones billed at our old Chicago address. They said it’s because we didn’t change the “SERVICE ADDRESS”. When we purchased the phones here in Florida, shouldn’t that have been done then? That was an additional $15 per month. They added a “PLAY MORE PREMIUM” on our account. That’s an additional $30 per month. We have NEVER used Disney, HULU, or ESPN, through them. I have that thru my cable service. We also have NEVER used APPLE PAY. They couldn’t let us know who signed us up for that, but says that it has been on there for years. I couldn’t tell that it was on there, because it is under the same name of the previous plan that we have always had, but they added it as “PREMIUM”, so that we couldn’t catch it. Furthermore, we already had the Military Discount on our plan. They keep removing it. That’s an additional $40 that they keep adding to our bill. Once you are a Military Veteran, you can’t “UN-VET” yourself. Every month. I am on the phone with them for over an hour, discussing new charges. I didn’t think that I would be switching my phone service. However, this may be the time to do it. This is terrible. They need to refund my money for this “PREMIUM” plan, & the out-of-state service address that they have been billing me for.

I started with Verizon in January 2023. I have never regretted a decision more. They say customer service can make or break a company. .well Verizon is a "broken" company! Verizon customer service will lie over and over again just to get you off the phone. I returned my brand new phone in for a refurbished phone listening to their lies, and the refurbished phone had the "EXACT" same problems!! So now I'm paying almost $1000 for a used phone! For "FOUR" month's I have been lied to by Verizon's customer service, and have been in and out of their stores trying to get satisfaction on my "EXPENSIVE" investment, to no avail! I want to just give up and keep my junkie phone, because I am exhausted with them, but that is what this company hopes for! No Way!!! I will file reviews and tell everyone I know that "Verizon Wireless Is CRAP"!!!

I miss the days when they offered phone upgrades. I’m currently on a family plan and while my rate is low ($50/line for unlimited text calls and internet) I’ve also got the same phone since 2018 because I can’t afford a new one. Their service area is unmatched and I often flaunt in front of AT&T customers that if I didn’t have Verizon none of us would have service to call an Uber. Verizons website is a tad clunky but it’s also easier to reach a human than it is for other customer service lines

Though connection/data services can be a bit glitchy, I do love the ease in which I use Verizon. Plus the plans offered are great! My only suggestion would be to offer more international cellular plans for students abroad so it is cost effective.

Verizon is a decent wireless phone provider. They pricing is okay. There's better out there. This is just my personal opinion. I personally had to jump through his to get finally get my PW figures out, but other then this, they're not the worst option.

Very best coverage in US, unlimited line is great, prices are ok.Service when needed is always available but depending on agent not always professional thus had to go two times in the shop to get my SIM card working. If you are in an area of low signal you do not get help from Verizon with a free booster thats not ok.

Had Verizon for 5 years, expensive, but no problems. My dog has heart failure, spent $5,000 last six months getting her set. She is stable and outlook is as good as could be expected. All my creditors helped me financially by deferring payments, except Verizon. They gave me one extra week, my bill was $452, which i accepted, they charged me $10 for speaking to a representative. Verizon never processed the payment. I called to see what happened, they made another arrangement, added a late fee and another $10. When I got the text about the fees, I am furious, call back to dispute because it was Verizon's error, not mine. They told me too bad about the fees, then charged me another $10. I told them that I am not paying these extra fees because of their error. They said they will be making a negative report to the credit bureaus damaging my credit. After 5 years, they would do this, even after learning of my dogs condition. I just needed some extra time to catch up. Verizon just hammered me with baseless fees and intends to damage my credit. Buyer beware of this company.

Moved from another carrier which was a nightmare. I've spent hours trying to get service, register as a customer, sign up for Autopay, apply for military discount, redeem my rebates, etc. Nothing has been easy & I've spent hours on hold for customer service. Customer Service & tech support are helpful once you finally get a hold of someone but you might be on hold for an hour or more. Online instructions are unclear & you get locked out of tasks without warning, if you make too many attempts. The entire process of becoming a new customer is such a hassle. It almost seems like they purposely make it difficult just to discourage you from taking advantage of rebates & discounts.

I have used them for cell phone service for many years. I have experienced good coverage with no dropped phone calls. I do wish the price was better. I intend to address this soon. I am not locked into a program and my cell phone is paid for. I did receive a good incentive to buy a cell phone 3 years ago.

We've had Verizon for 22 years and have 5 lines on their unlimited plan. Great coverage is their only pro, which is actually huge. We recently switched to Xfinity Mobile to save $100 per month. To our shock, we were billed for our entire billing period when we switched, even though we switched mid-cycle. We also realized we had been being billed for Disney Plus, which we never used. I do recall Verizon sending a text over a year ago announcing they were providing a free trial of Disney Plus. We never used it and had no idea we were being billed $8.99 per month, since we auto-pay our bill each month. Their site doesn't recognize my log in, so I've had to call them and wait on perma-hold to try and resolve. One rep said he was putting thru a request to credit us $180. I never heard back and never received a credit. Finally called back and eventually got through and was told NOPE!! Super shoddy customer service IMO. You should treat exiting customers with the same level of service you would treat existing customers.

The best part of Verizon for me was their selection of phones and reliability in coverage. Their customer service is lacking because their hold times have always been lengthy prior to COVID. If your call is disconnected with AT&T, they will at least call you back. With Verizon, you might as well try your call again. The departments that transfer you do not do a good job of noting your accounts which means you have to repeat your issues over and over. I wouldn't go with Verizon as long as I have a choice.

The actual phone service quality might be solid, but their call in support is TERRIBLE! I have had a Verizon corporate account for over 20 years and anything to do with their phone support has been bottom of the barrel. In store support is the way to go, when you can manage that. In the last 22 years, I have made one or two payment errors and they have ZERO cooperation for resolution. I was out of town and they actually (supposedly) terminated service on our lines. After paying with a credit card immediately, to regain service, they charged an additional $208.00 to "reconnect" the service on our 8 phone lines. I have been on hold for 45 minutes now to speak with a representative. I wont bore you with the rest of the details. This is NOT how I treat any of my customers. Big time FAIL!

Don't ever buy a phone from Verizon. I just bought a phone a week ago bc my old one (only a year old) kept looping and would not charge or turn on. When I bought the phone, I asked if I was locked into their service or anything, and the employee (kind of new) said no, they don't do that anymore. I explained that my dad retired and was cancelling our family plan, so I would have to switch services soon, as well. I was not told about any 60 day lock policy on new phones. I paid for my phone in FULL PRICE. Yesterday morning, I finally started to set up my new Mint Mobile service, put in the SIM card... and found out the phone was locked into Verizon. I couldn't (and have not been able to since then) make/receive calls or texts. Ugh--I waited on the phone for 30 min, then gave up and went in the store and then spent another 30-45 min on the phone. Finally, someone sent in an unlock appeal... I waited 24 hours--all the find out this morning that the appeal was denied! I have not been able to use my phone, and I spent $400 and so much of my time (buying the phone and trying to unlock it) on this. :( Verizon is a big company with all the power, and all they are interested in is power and control. I can't believe that I paid for my phone in full, and I can't even use it, and they are not helping me. I feel powerless as a customer and consumer. I just know that I am NEVER buying a phone from Verizon again, and I will think long and hard before ever using them as my service provider again.

I had Verizon for over 15 years because they always had the best signal. last year I bought a house just north of Phoenix and could not get any kind of call through. Texts made it sometimes, but not always. When I talked to the local store they had no idea if they were going to be adding towers in our area. I had to switch to ATT who just built a tower I can see from my front porch. Now I get 5G.

I like that they have good coverage in our mountain area. The have a good number of stores to get service. Wait time can sometime be long but usually a 15 min wait. They have poor customer service in both the stores and 800 support. Used their One Talk product for my business. It was not good. Dropped calls, poor reception. Took it back after 6 months and went to Vonage. Rates are high!

Verizon is easy to work with. I do like having their app on my phone. As with any other product you have to do your research. For instance as a family we were considering going with their unlimited data plan. Everything customer service said sounded good and we could actually save money. I love Excel spreadsheets so I made one up for each family member and entered the cost information in for the unlimited plan. The outcome - two of our family would actually save money, and the other three would be paying much more.

I believe that Verizon on a whole are very expensive. They charge for every single thing. They keep reprogramming their On Demand and many things that were free are now being charged for. To rent a movie that you watch from your couch are as expensive as when you go out to a movie house. There service is excellent but close to being out of reach..

We had good coverage with Verizon, but did not like their business practices. A Verizon rep called us to say we were not using the amount of data which we were paying for and she was going to help us change our plan so we would pay less money. Very soon after our plan was changed, we started to receive overage charges. No surprise here: when we called to get back on our previous plan, rep said we couldn't go back to that "loyalty plan/service/special" (or whatever they called it) because we agreed to another plan. So, they solicit us under the guise of saving us money, but it turned out to be a sneaky way of getting rid of long-time loyal customer plans (must have been losing money on us).

They are the highest quality of phone carriers and often have the best service, but they have terrible customer service. It feels like they just try to sell you everything and there are always more fees than you would expect. If you are coming in for a simple question on phone upgrades or adding a new line, expect to spend $15-30 more a month than you anticipated.

If this was 4 years ago I would give Verizon a 5. But we've moved from the area and having to rely soley on cell service Verizon is a 1 star. I give an extra start for the past years. Checking thru Cellmapper.net I can see that Verizon's coverage stops just outside my property line. We are surrounded by shopping and I found if I go shopping I have excellent service, less than 1/4 mile away. So why does Verizon's coverage stop short? No one can answer that. I can find two T-Mobile cell towers that cover our home with a long reach of coverage. Verizon's is all about the shopping area nothing else. And G5... will have shorter coverage areas. Not to long ago I would have given Verizon a 5. However, they have started making changes to their plans and not only would my bill go up they also charge approximately 40 dollars for start up fees, per line. Second the quality of phone calls has diminished also. Several times a day my phone cuts out, or it can not hold a call and you get dropped. I am hoping for change.

Verizon's service is very good. I have reception without interruption pretty much everywhere I go (throughout the US) and it is clear. This puts the customer in the position of having to bargain for rates, which should be unnecessary.
