I have had Verizon service for years. I have always enjoyed the national and regional coverage I have access to. However, their international travel plan choices are so much more expensive than other companies like T-Mobile! That is very disappointing as I travel annually at least and use my phone for my business. But since I recently got a new phone under contract I will be continuing to be a Verizon customer.

I have had Verizon Wireless for over 20 years now. There was a brief two weeks stent that I tried another provider through Sprint. And I was so upset that I switched. There has been nothing like Verizon. Yes, it is more expensive than almost every other provider out there, but the amount of dropped calls I’ve had I could probably count on one hand. The experience has been awesome and I wouldn’t trade it.their customer service has always been excellent.

Horrible in honoring their promotions. My husband and I live in Philly and had changed to Verizon fios for internet service. At the time there was a promotion for $200 gift card if we signed up with them as a first time customer. Skipping ahead to the present, we’re moving back to Jersey and unfortunately they don’t have service in the area where we are moving to. The customer service representative stated that we had to return the $200 giftcard because we were with them for less than 6 months. What kind of joke is that? It’s not like we’re intentionally going with a different internet company, Verizon doesn’t service in the area we will be going to. But, of course, “there’s nothing they can do” in needing us to return a $200 giftcard they GIFTED us for signing up. Ridiculous. Trust me when I say we’ll never go back to Verizon and we’re definitely not recommending them to anyone we know.

Verizon has been illegally keeping a carrier lock on my husband’s iPhone 14 Pro for 80 days, prohibiting him from using another eSIM and carrier. It’s been 49 days of speaking to their uneducated Verizon Support team and still no resolution. The Phone was paid IN FULL on August 27 from a Verizon store in Idaho Falls, Idaho. We were promised it would unlock after 60 days, which would be October 27. Here we are, 141 days later and Verizon is fully incapable of resolving the issue that they have caused. We live in Sweden and my husband can’t use our local carriers because of these literal morons at Verizon don’t know how to unlock his phone, although they “promise” it will be resolved in the next 48hrs. Try 48hrs as in 49 days and counting??? A bunch of scammers!!! Literally NEVER buy a phone from Verizon if you want it to be unlocked. They are a scam. Buy directly from Apple or your preferred brand because Verizon will treat you like shit and illegally keep your phone locked.

I have had this service for over 5 years. Other than the frustration of going into the brick-and-mortar stores to change out phones (I think that is just a frustration when you have to upgrade your phone....the process just takes hours), I am very happy with Verizon. The trade-in values I get for my phone when I upgrade generally means I get the new phone for free! Rates are comparable to other carriers, but we do have the USAA discount as well.

I have used Verizon before it became Verizon, so for about 25 years. Although their phone plans are expensive, they seem to be the most reliable carrier there is. I have lived in the mountains and deserts. and they are usually the most reliable carrier. They have great customer service and you can always talk to a live rep with very little waiting. I main complaint is that they have great offers to new customers, but offer no incentives to existing customers

I give 4 stars because the actual service is amazing I have yet to find a place I had trouble calling from. The internet is not amazing but I don’t expect lightning fast speeds from 5g. The billing I would give a half star they charge you a lot for service and are not very trustworthy on the promotional stuff they offer. I selected a deal where I add a line and buy an I phone then I get the second one free. My wife had a line already so I dropped my cell carrier and took the deal I got both phones and everything was good then I got the bill and they charged for both phones at $2000+ each. I called and tried to get it straight but they either gave me the run around or flat wouldn’t listen so I was forced to have a huge bill every month while I’m paying for 2 phones when I should have only been paying for the one phone.

I’ve been trying to find out why all the services upgraded on my account and I’ve spoken to several people with Verizon and got nowhere. Then tonight I was looking to file a complaint and got Ava. This wonderful Verizon employee took care of me in 5 minutes what I’ve been trying to accomplish for the past few months. Verizon needs to appreciate this lovely lady. I've been a Verizon account holder for my cell phone for almost 10 years now. I am on a family plan that has unlimited data, talking & texting. I love the customer service at retail stores in my area here in Utah. They are very helpful & knowledgeable in their dealings with me, the account holder. My daughters phone was not working properly and when we took it into the retail store, they explained some options & have the best thing for me to do with my daughters phone. After sending the phone in because of the Verizon protection service I have, I received a new refurbished phone with in 48 hours.

They sucked money (almost $12,000) out of a custodial bank account and never even had any of my information or my childs information or anyone in my family. It was complete fraud and they will do nothing to help me. They are saying to contact the bank and the bank is saying that they got the money and should be taking care of it. If I could I would give Verizon 0 stars! They are absolutely terrible and I would highly recommend never using their service. I went to best buy about a year ago and they talked me into trading my note in for an $800 credit towards my new phone. I was like yes what a steal. I was told by doing this, my phone bill would decrease from $130 to about $105. Once I decided to move forward with the trade-in, I was handed a paper on how to apply the promotion (IF) it didn't work. Red flag! Run away! They said my first 3 bills would be more then it should go down to $105 ...well it never did. I kept having issues with my service and when I would call they would just say the towers were getting worked on. I just started my own small business and I wasn't getting any messages or calls for over 2 weeks, my boyfriend who also owns a business had the same issue. We both were not receiving calls, texts and non of our apps were working consistently. After many hours on the phone and terrible customer service, we decided to leave the company and go with T-mobile. This is when I discovered I NEVER got a credit for the phone I traded in. I was told I would get an $800 trade-in. I got 0! They also said you don't get the $800 credit applied to the account right away. You receive $22 ecery month off your bill for 3 years! When I was switching companies they told me I had to pay $600 to pay off the remaining balance of my new phone. I told them I had traded in my old phone at best buy and never got credited. I also was informed that I overpaid on my bill $22 a month for a year. This was supposed to be credited back to me and never was. Once I switch to T-mobile I still got charged another phone bill and I was no longer with the company. Then I got charged $790 for the remaining balance of the device I (still owed on). When I checked it said $600 and I was never credited the $800 for my trade-in, was overcharged on my phone bill for a year and paid another phone bill on top of that! I spent countless hours talking to one representative after another and getting redirected for hours. They told me sorry, there's nothing we can do! I stopped into verizon and spoke with a manager. Even he did not understand what all the additional charges were for. He told me the best they could is refund $187 for the trade in of my old phone. So they took almost $800 out of my account without my approval. This caused my financial hardship and of course they do this right before Christmas. No one will help me and they will not refund the money they STOLE from me. They are thieves and I will NEVER use Verizon EVER again!

I wouldn’t recommend Verizon. I’ve been with this company since my first cell phone in 1998. For over 20 years I never had problems, always got great customer support, didn’t have complications, and didn’t feel like I was being overcharged. Now, in the past couple years, all of the above apply. I guess you just got too big to care Verizon. I actually changed my plan through the app over a month ago and for some reason it didn’t happen in real life. When I tried calling and getting someone to help me with doing that, it was a complete zoo. I finally gave up. I am tired of Verizon overpricing, bad customer service, app crashes and in general it’s a pain in the neck to do anything. If I didn’t have a phone to pay off I would move to another provider and as soon as I can pay off this device that’s what I’m doing.

I was a Verizon customer for 8 years and have never had a good experience. Free upgrades were non-existent, salesmen would not deal with you if you weren't willing to pay a premium and salesmen/ store managers signed me up for services without authorization after I said no. On three occasions at three different stores I was signed up for every add in product without consent of any sort and the store managers lied about payment terms. Bills always arrived at double what was agreed upon. No trust worthy business operations at this store. Experience is worse than buying a car. To make matters worse after all the bad experiences I switched carriers, called Verizon customer service and paid account up to date. Now three months later they through a debt into collections which was already paid and tanked my credit score. Absolutely worst customer service I have received in any establishment

I've had all of the providers - Verizon has the best coverage. They know it and charge accordingly. Having said that, they are pretty good when you call in and try to resolve issues. They are also pretty responsive although many times I have been told to expect a call back and never got it. They have also had billing snafus - not sure why as this seems to be an industry problem, but every carrier seems to have crazy billing processes that end up working out in the end, but are very confusing and cause headaches.

They have the best coverage. all the cell phone companies have the same deals on phones but wherever someone's sprint or T-Mobile phone doesn't work, My Verizon has signal and works just fine. I wish I would have stayed with my unlimited data plan, But opted out to go on a family plan with measured data each month But we've managed to dial it in and Not go over And it's actually cheaper for us. Definitely recommend

Verizon is one of the major cell carriers in the US. You can find their stores almost everywhere. They have a wide variety of plans and devices they will sell you. They have arguably the best cell coverage of any cell carrier and this is particularly true where I live. But... Their customer service is poor. I had billing errors regularly in the almost 20 years I used Verizon. After a while, it gets tiring to call their customer service month after month after month to have them adjust your bill. The people you talk to can't do it; they have to pass it up the line to some unknown supervisor who makes the decision. They tell you you'll be notified, but you aren't, so you have to check yourself and get back to them if there's a problem. It's nice being able to take your phone in to a local office if you don't know how to do something with it or something isn't working right and get help from somebody knowledgeable. The people are all friendly and nice and well trained. They just can't get their billing right.

After being a longtime Verizon customer (including all the former companies that ultimately became Verizon), I made the mistake of changing to a different company. It took me less than one week to realize my error. On 11/16/2021, I went to Verizon, 90 Buckland Rd, South Windsor CT. I met Candice, a Verizon specialist, who proceeded to spend almost two hours to return the excellent service I once had with Verizon. She helped me with a new plan, a new phone and best of all captured my original Verizon cell phone number. I can't say enough about her. What a stellar Verizon employee !!

I love how much coverage Verizon provides as well as the flexibility in plans and customizable family options. They make it so easy to find the perfect plan for you. I felt like Verizon covered a wide range of areas to where I was still reaching coverage on top of one of the Rocky Mountains. I also love Verizon's warranty protection and customer service. This review is in praise of the employee, Christian, who helped me at the Verizon store in Sumner, WA on August 27th. He was cheerful, polite, and very knowledgeable. He quickly and easily fixed my Moto phone problem, which I very much appreciated. Update: needed to get phone looked at again on August 28th, and different employees insisted I wear a mask (which is unhealthy for me). I told them I couldn't, and they said they wouldn't help me, company orders. I left.

Good quality service, but when renewing my service with a replacement phone and adding a third phone to my account. I decided to take the UNLIMITED program for service. Guess what it is not unlimited for anything other than talking on the phone. Everything else has caps that are lower than everyone else. And when going into one of their "stores" their excuse is that they can't any phone service, program changes, or anything else because they are just a sales location. You have to go to a "company" store to rectify anything. I returned my phone and changed to T-Mobile. Better programs at cheaper prices and much nicer people. Good buy, good riddance Verizon!

We can have a team member help us in person at any time, upgrade our phones, give us info on new phone, pros and cons, and help us get the most for our money. Verizon, what a love-hate relationship that was. I chose Verizon primarily for the same reason everyone else does; Coverage. They do have the best network, but the gap is closing. Recently, I think they’ve recognized that the competition is catching up in terms of coverage and this has forced Verizon to be more competitive in their offerings, which is always good news for the customer. During the time I had Verizon, I also had Metro PCS (which uses T-Mobile’s network. My Metro plan was $25 a month, so it was worth the convenience of having 2 phones). In the beginning, the differences were night and day. My Verizon phone would get service in many more areas than my Metro PCS phone would. But after 2 years, that changed, DRASTICALLY. T-Mobile’s service has improved so much to the point where the differences were negligible (and this was traveling in the Northeast as well as Colorado, New Mexico, Florida and Puerto Rico. In Florida and New Mexico, my MetroPCS service was actually better). Although, the Verizon phone service was still outperforming my MetroPCS overall, the difference in service wasn’t enough to justify the cost. I noticed that the times that the Verizon phone did work where my Metro phone did not, it was mostly on 3G or 1x, so the call quality wasn’t what you’d expect in 2019. The straw that broke the camel’s back was when I tried to upgrade my Verizon phone at Best Buy. They were having a deal on iPhones that would’ve saved me $150. There was a restriction or glitch having to do with my Apple Watch being paired to my existing iPhone that prevented me from doing the upgrade at Best Buy. The computer at Best Buy said I had to go to Verizon to do the upgrade. Verizon stores aren’t known for offering good deals on anything, and when they do, there’s always the catch that the discount is applied over the course of 2 years instead of at the point of sale. This was a problem for me because I normally pay off my phones in the first 2-3 months so I don’t have to pay for the phone AND my service. It’s easier for me to just bite the bullet and pay for the entire phone asap and pay a much smaller phone bill moving forward. I also didn’t like the fact that when you get a phone at Verizon, whatever you pay towards the cost of the phone needs to be paid up front or you have to pay for the entire thing in one lump sum. For example, I got an iPhone XS Max at Verizon in October. Total price was approximately $1,250. I put down $800 at the onset which reduced my balance on the phone. But Verizon wouldn’t accept partial payments on the phone beyond the minimum amount unless I was paying the whole thing off. I planned to pay it off in $150 installments every month until the remainder was paid, but since they wouldn’t accept that, I had to pay them the remaining $450 in one lump sum. It’s all a ploy to keep you on the hook and that’s what I didn’t like. Besides that, the international rates are ridiculous and the data throttling limits are too low (22GB vs 35GB with MetroPCS and 50GB with T-Mobile). I can see why Verizon got away with this back in the day. Back then, they were the only game in town in many regions. That’s no longer the case and that’s why I left. They need to ease up with the restrictive policies.

I absolutely love Verizon! Great coverage everywhere I went. Never had a problem with my phone service. Whenever I went in they were always willing to help me as much as they could without my mothers pin to access account. Sad when I had to switch carriers because my self was broke and I had to find something cheaper that only I could afford when not being on a family plan.

Can be more expensive than some of the competitors, but in my opinion, you get what you pay for. I’ve had my service go out twice, once in the middle of nowhere in a hike and again in drive between Cali and Utah. I’ve done that drive several times since then and haven’t lost service again. Great speeds everywhere we go, which is are the two things that matter to me as I travel with my wife. You should never have to worry about your cellphone service, and that’s what I get with Verizon.

Well I like Verzion been with them a very long time today I called to apply for 55 older discount which they said I was approved then I get an email stating that 55 older is only applied in other regions than NY well I hit the ceiling finally spoke to manger he said the same thing but he was able to lower my plan by switching my plan so my bill was reduced by $30 so therefore I’m still a happy customer I was almost ready to change carriers but now I’m happy again thx Dianav

I switched to Verizon mainly for the coverage. I am in real estate, so I need to know that I have a reliable phone. Customer service has always been helpful. We also have our internet service with Verizon. We have unlimited service, but once a certain amount is used, we go into slow mode. When that happens, I try to do most of my internet work during non prime times. We are fortunate to have a Verizon store close to where we live. They are always helpful.

Their cell service is almost always available when others aren't. They are just unbeatable in that regard. They are a little on the pricier end as far as cell phone companies go, but the reception is superior in my experience. I had to cancel my service because I was switching on to my husband's family plan, and when I cancelled it was actually super easy. I waited until I had paid off my phone and then they didn't charge me anything to cancel.

I was with Nextel/Sprint almost 30 years. Enough. I went to the Verizon store in Pompano Beach Florida and spent quality time with Will. I traded in 2 Note 5s and got a S9 and S9+. Everything is perfect. I even had the pleasure of speaking to a tower 2 rep who got everything explained to me. Nothing but codis to all. Great phones. Great service (unlike my previous carrier), and the store around the corner. Go Verizon.

Switched from AT&T to Verizon just a couple of months ago. The transition was simple and customer service was very helpful with keeping my old phone number and getting all of my contacts into the new phone. So far the service has been really good. I live in Utah and I go to lots of remote places in the mountains. Most of the time I get cell service. So far I have liked the switch.

I've been with Verizon for what seems like forever, primarily because their coverage is the best. Rarely ever have a dropped call or problems connecting over their network along the entire eastern seaboard. My only complaint is that in the past they didn't give rollover minutes and their plans were very expensive compared to other companies. Recently they started offering their Edge program with unlimited texts and unlimited messages for roughly the same pricing so they are learning how to keep customers happy. Don't like that the loyalty program has basically disappeared. You used to receive a large credit towards the purchase of a new phone every two years. They will still give you a credit but now they have added a fee when you activate a new phone which offsets the credit. They also have stopped giving corporate discounts to all accessories. I bought a mophie case for $75 with my discount for my Samsung III but when I went to buy the case for my Samsung IV I had to pay the full price of $100. They can nickel and dime you on certain things. I was very disappointed in the fact that I was paying about $8 a month for insurance on my Samsung III and when it died after about two years (so I paid almost $200 for insurance over that time) I was told the insurance was with a third party and I had a $100 deductible (making my ultimate cost for a refurb replacement $300). Was not happy at all and find this very deceptive. Ended up having to buy the new Samsung V for about $250 which the edge plan lets you pay for over 24 months.

Overall I've been pleased with Verizon. I joined them a little over 2 years ago because they were having a BOGO offer for Google Pixel 2 at the time and I was having difficulties with my ATT cell service. It was relatively easy to create my account and establish service (done through the store), and then make modifications to my account online. I LOVE that I can make changes online and not have to call or go into any store. I have changed my maintenance coverage for my daughter's phone and lowered my bill at least $15/month, and added my husband to our cell plan, all done online. I also like the UP rewards and have been donating those to the American Red Cross and the No Kids Go Hungry.

I made the switch to Verizon back when AT&T was Cingular wireless because I was fed up with bad reception and my calls dropping. Since then I have been a faithful Verizon customer and I LOVE everything about them. Their customer service is stellar. One of the very very very few companies where I don’t cringe if I have to call them. I know they will answer promptly and will be efficient and helpful. They are excellent at crediting stuff back if you need them to and so far they seem to have continued to hire Americans for their customer service. (Nothing against India but I’m a firm supporter of hiring in the country you do business in) I live in one area where their service didn’t reach and they were helpful at brainstorming solutions. I tried to switch to T-mobile at that time but their Customer service was Such a headache it was actually easier to use Wi-Fi calling and stay with Verizon. Their international coverage is also fantastic. Highly recommend them.
