I am a long time customer of Verizon. Their My Verizon app is excellent and easy to use for a variety of purposes such as bill paying and plan changes and options. Visiting a store also affords the customer in person customer service which is excellent.

I started using this service about 6 months ago. Compared to my previous service, I'm paying 3 times more $$, which is absolutely redic. I changed to Verizon due to needed USA wide coverage due to traveling. If I didn't have to travel, I would definitely change to another service due to the cost being so high.

Verizon, is the best company to have a cell phone account with. There are no dropped calls ever, as that only happens from other cellular phones if that person doesn’t have Verizon at the other end who you are speaking to.

YES, they are more expensive, but they have the best coverage in rural America. Living in places like Montana and Idaho, you have to pay more to get better coverage. If that wasn't an issue, I would go with a different company.

Really nothing to compare it to but land line. Never had a reception problem. But I do believe they really aren't interested in business. I get better responses from individual owned Verizon stores than Verizon owned stores. This has not always been the case. You can sit forever to buy a new phone. People do like to shop in person and when you set up a shop for that purpose, then you should make it the best available. Online help not bad. I like the app and the freezer kickbacks jeeps my daughter drowning in Starbucks. So three stars because the brick and mortar sucks.

Typical big box cell carrier. Complicated and hard to understand billing charges and never ending taxes. The coverage was iffy in my area a year later the company changed my area from 4G to 3 G and I subsequently lost all coverage. These companies are quick to remind us that “we” are in a contract with them but in this case the tables were turned and I had to remind “them’ that they had entered a contract with ME and that was to provide me with cell service…which was no gone. After some haggling I was provided with a no charge micro cell tower to regain service but I did not appreciate the complications.

I have a love/hate relationship with Verizon. I feel trapped to stay with them. They defiantly have the best cell reception , at least for our area, but I feel they take advantage of this with their pricing. Their website is not user friendly, any “perks” are very well hidden so you rarely know they are there. But again, feel trapped to stay because of reception issues in my area

For the most part, it has good service. The website is a bit confusing but the biggest issue: ever since I switched to Verizon the spam calls tripled. Unfortunately, they have better coverage in the remote areas I travel to, so I put up with the spam. ( not even their spam stopper makes a difference). Otherwise, I would go with the cheaper competition.

Crappy customer service. No one can ever fix your problem. Their service is never any good especially internet. I have blocked a number on my line and it can still call and text me. so that feature i pay for and it doesnt work. I also had the insurance on my phone i pay for it extra every month so if my phone break i dont have to work out all that money for a new one. They advertise it as you can get your screen fixed anywhere at no cost if your have the insurance. and that they can come to your house and do it !! 100% a lie ..i had to pay over 200.00 for a new phone after i pay all this money on insurance. Not to mention i bought my phone brad new and i had to send my broken phone in to get fixed and instead of sending me a brand new phone like i had originally purchased less than 6 months prior they sent a used phone

Neve again, and YOU don’t have too! Had them over 8 years, the highest possible charges for 1 line. They just are evil and greedy. They are however intelligent and hire pretty intelligent people. So you will get someone to help you and explains how to do something, however you will pay a high price—-but WHY would you? Due to their greed many left and others have stepped up their game. I feel more wholesome business motives or roots in other companies with similar service than Verizon. Never want to be part of that again. Suck you dry—-bad roots Excellent coverage Excellent service Smart people and managers Start a business relationship in place that is healthier: Now you have choices and that means you the customer can be in a better and more in control of both your who provides for cell service and their customer service capacity. Feel better about not doing business with a crook/greed. Viva la competition!

Connection is quite good in both rural and metropolitan areas of my home state. The review is a 3 because of the customer service I have received from the business side of their services. I have been a Verizon customer for over 15 years. I liked how they used to offer free upgrades and upgrade fees. Now, you have to purchase a new phone over a 24 month period of time which most of the time the phone is junky by the time you are done paying for it, so then you have to purchase a new one. It's perpetual phone payments verse just paying for a service. If you ask for them to waive the upgrade fee they usually honor that, otherwise it's a sly way for them to make more money off of you. Verizon is probably one of the best phone providers out there. However, they are not perfect. Some of the experiences I’ve had with them have led me to consider other phone providers. For instance, I was charged $50 twice for the same phone and never got a refund. I tried calling and visiting one of their stores, and just kept getting the same thing. Eventually, someone I called gave me a partial refund but it still didn’t make sense as to why I could not get all my money back.

When signing up for my plan I was able to get the new Samsung Galaxy 10e for free. After being with two other companies I find that Verizon has way better service. The only negative thing s I found were the price ea little high and I cracked the screen on my phone a little over a month after I got it and they wouldn't cover the screen.

Billing system is a problem. Used to be that if a bill was allowed to be paid anytime within the 30 day billing cycle and maintain your account active. Now bill is due immediately upon the beginning of the billing cycle otherwise your account is suspended shortly thereafter.

I have Verizon for work and overall it works OK. Not the fastest loading on the WiFi end, but ok. I had a super easy time setting it up and was pleased with the customer service. They originally quoted me a price and then when I got the first bill it was more than the quote. When I reached out to them, they quickly credited me.

The phone service is reliable but the data is non existent. The only data I get is to drive in town. I should get credit for the unused data or it should be credited to the future when I leave home and need it. Right now I pay double for data through my satellite internet wi-fi service and my non existent cell data which I also pay for. Verizon has no solutions for me.

It's a tad higher but not much for the great service I have. They give you ways to reduce your bill as well. Currently get $20 + off!

Hidden fees! What they don't tell you in the awesome $49.99/month deals for internet is that they require a $150 security deposit that they keep for A YEAR! Also, their autopay set up is not intuitive. Also, once you're done with that awesome deal, they raise the price to $54.99/month and constantly try to add hidden fees. If I didn't check my bill every month, I would have been charged for random fees that I don't understand and then go through a difficult refund process. For the actual quality of internet, I have the deal I listed above and it's mostly fine except the range doesn't cover my whole apartment (1100 sq ft) and our two desktop computers that both use ethernet get disconnected randomly for reasons unknown.

I currently have Verizon, when I used to have U.S. Cellular. I couldn’t get service going outside of the state when I had U.S. Cellular. There are, of course, a few places I can’t get service with Verizon, but I can atleast go out of state and not have to worry! My service is so much better!
