MedCerts offers short-term online training for several healthcare and IT certificate programs. The company has helped more than 19,000 students get the qualifications they need to start new careers in those industries. MedCerts is fully online, flexible, and offers programs as short as 12 weeks.
MedCerts offers job placement assistance to certificate-holders. MedCerts has strategic partnerships with many staffing agencies and employers including genoa healthcare, Kroger, Aerotek, Goodwill, meijer pharmacy, CVS, and Walgreens.
Students can access support through all steps of the certification process: exploration, decision, enrollment, exam preparation, and job seeking.
The MedCerts career pathways exploration page allows students to check salaries, programs, and job seeking recommendations in healthcare and IT.
To get help as you decide on your program, you can set up an appointment with an education consultant, work with them to create a custom online learning plan, and start implementing your plan. Throughout your program, you have access to one-on-one support for your career training.
Some programs are as short as 12 weeks, which is much faster than programs at traditional schools or training programs. MedCerts’ program offerings include some clustered certificates that cover more than one area of expertise for personalized training.
Tuition covers the cost of exams you need to receive certification. You have a few no-interest options when it comes to paying for your MedCerts course. You can pay in full and enroll with no interest. Or you can sign up for four-payment financing over a period of three months with zero interest. Anyone with a valid payment can qualify for the four-payment financing; you don’t need to qualify with a third party.
Some students may qualify for government aid through a MyCAA (military spouse) or WIOA grant and go through a MedCerts program at no cost.
Prospective students should be aware of costs they may be charged for in addition to the tuition amount. If you opt for the longest MedCerts financing option of 12 payments over 11 months, interest is 6 percent which amounts to between $120–$360 depending on the total cost of your selected course. To go the 12-payment route, you must meet eligibility requirements by the third-party financing company.
All payments, even payments in full, are subject to additional sales tax and shipping and handling fees.
