While Kaplan does have amazing academic resources, in many cases it is not the actual certifying body for career certifications. Rather, it can be the tool that can help you pass the exam for the certificate you're seeking.
Credits May Not Transfer
Be aware that if you decide to transfer from Kaplan to another college or university, your credits may not go with you. It's possible that you could expend time, money, and effort taking multiple classes and having it be for naught, as not all courses will transfer to other institutions. Before transferring, check with admissions from both schools about the transferability of your credits.
