Zoosk decided to change my religion from Spiritual to Muslim. I have a couple of Zoosk contacts, one who has been changed from Jewish to Hindu, and the other from Catholic to Jewish. No success with phone to Zoosk support (it see4ms to have been discontinued) and only auto-replies to website help requests. Zoosk gets two thumbs down from me.

I've been told that I am banned fir life from Zoosk due to a charge dispute in 2019. I believe I had a fraud issues with a credit card at the time so my bank was questioning all charges. This is the most ridiculous reason! They are acting like I was a stalker!!

Just an average guy. But, expected better results as they have been around for quite some time. No question about it their site is flooded with fake profiles. They claim that these women are viewing you constantly but in reality they don’t exist. All in an effort to get you excited and spend more money. I’m sure there is some legitimacy to the site but there is also an effort to scam people who joined with hopes of actually meeting someone. Don’t waste your time nor money on Zoosk.

The site was difficult to navigate, you had to start over from the beginning every time you chose to swipe, making it feel redundant and boring and causing you to look at the same profile more than once giving that person the impression that you are continuously checking them out. You have to be a paying customer to communicate and not many options to begin with. Zoosk was overall a waste of money. It’s so bad that my subscription is up in November, and I’m not even going to let it play out. I’m cutting my losses. Deleted!

Terrible terrible terrible. Ended up in 2 different DANGEROUS situations. Had to call police 2 of 3 interactions outside of the site. TOO many men. Lots of inappropriate language/humans, and I have pretty thick skin. I would NOT recommend this app for ANYONE seeking a relationship. I felt dirty after my first day on there. I am a member and wish I’d never given them my $$. TERRIBLE experience. TERRIBLE!

The profiles of attractive females are scammers. I have been on it constantly for nearly a month. I believe the unattractive people are real. My personal result so far is not one actual meeting and this could continue for a year or more. I am a middle aged fit man and at least look good for my age. Even the unattractive are only viewing my profile and not sending messages from living real people. Honestly the company should be sued. Or have a cybercrime unit clean it up because people are being taken advantage of..

OMG, WORST dating site ever. I have NEVER seen so many fake profiles! Please, do NOT waste your money and be VERY wary of ANYONE who wants to google you, chat with you, etc. I'm pretty savvy, and I've still been burned, but within 12 hours I realized that the SOB was NOT who he said he was. Ladies, PLEASE-----RESEARCH, check for their names on FB, or Linked In, or ask questions to help confirm their identity. DO NOT ASSUME that they are who they say they are. It's pretty easy once you take responsibility for investigating rather than blindly believing!!!

company is a scam. signed up one night and was supposly talking to someone in my area. conversation stopped. I could not find her again. I tried to get on the site next day with no luck. zoosk took my money and disappeared. I tried to call their customer service and was put on hold then the call disconnected . This site is a total scam. I will be reporting them to the Attorney General. Maybe they get this company shutdown. Then maybe no one will get scammed like It was too bad I did notread the reviews before getting sucked into such a mess

I have sent 17 messages over 34 days and not one has been read , i paid to be advised when they are read , i am sure these people are no longer paid up members but are still coming up as matches, I had a friend come up as a match and i asked her if she was still on the site and she advised me she had terminated her subscription a long time ago , so how is it they keep old members to make up the figures of people available , i have asked for a explanation no reply as yet .

Besides the fact that Zwoosk has members that could be potentially dangerous to other members ( I've been contacted by men who speak of guns and shootings, and serious accusations about differing political beliefs) it seems that my credit card that I used for payment was leaked and someone tried to use it to make unauthorized purchases. Fortunately my bank caught it and notified me But obviously the site is full of scammers and I canceled my membership!

Usually a disappointing experience. Most of the women are totally unattractive in my area however elsewhere and way too far away, they look nice. That is a mystery to me. Also of the ones I do have an interest it is few and far between that I get responses. I am a descent looking , healthy male at my age and it don't mean....you got it.

I wish I could give it a 0.0!!!! 99% are FAKE profiles. They wanna chat forever but if you mention meeting or video chat all of a sudden profile is gone completely. It’s happened at least 100 times. Profiles will show a white normal height girl that’s obviously in her 20s profile will say woman of color age 54 and 6 ft 4. So zoosk IS all the profiles in my opinion!!!! Total waste of money

Not much good to say about the company. Clearly fake profiles, limited number of options - keeps sending you pictures of people you say you are not interested in, fake "interest" messages to keep you as a member, subscription renewal date not accurate, so they get you into another subscription perion with no cancellation capability, overall waste of money. Much better sites out there.

Zoosk wants you to put a mileage limit on how far away you want your potential dates to be. I put 40 miles for a maximum distance. They consistently showed me people that were 200, 300, 500 or more miles from my location. They would often show me people over 1,000 miles away. I wrote customer service 20 - 30 times about this and NEVER got a response. Do not waste your money on this dating site. It does not work

There are so many fake members on this site!! Zoosk does not verify the people on the site are who they say they are. I purchased a Background Check app and checked out men if we started communicating. You can find out everything about a person with just an email, or phone number. In one month, I found 3 men with fake profiles, 2 that lied about their age, 3 that lied about what state they were in, etc. I was able to change my profile to man looking for women, to see the competition on the site. This whole Zoosk site is a scam. Beware!!

I had Never been on a dating site and as a " mature" dater, I just wanted to put my toe in the water, so to speak and see what a dating site was all about. Unfortunately, I found out, all right. I met a man on the site and it started out good and exciting however, ultimately, he was a professional scammer and ended up scamming me out of my life savings. I will probably never recover financially and at 65 years old, that is very scary. Am trying to pick up the pieces of my life and move on but will probably have to work the rest of my life now. This dating site has become a joke. It starts out OK, but quickly realize a limited number of match’s within your area, filters are pointless, system doesn’t even attempt to match you with set filters. 90 percent of members requesting to meet are fake profiles, model looking pictures, generic profiles, many with same pictures with different profiles. Many profiles are members that have been inactive for many months. Very disappointed with the amount of fake profiles, won’t bother renewing. Not sure if there are better sites in comparison, but this one is a joke!

Zoosk is the wrong choice for meeting people online. They "do a little digging" for you only the people on the results never change. Then when you tell them you are opting out of their system, and until that date is reached they block anyone who "wants to meet you." The person who wants to meet you never is the person that comes up on the program. Using this site is throwing money down the drain.

Too many fake profiles. I believe the ‘viewed you’ messages from Zoosk at automated. Zoosk do better to get rid of fake profiles. I also girlie e their system plays a part in misrepresenting the truth. They should have a ‘Last Visited’ field. I have written to quite a few profiles and I can count replies on two fingers !! Given you pay to be a member you are in for a LOT of disappointment. There is NO way to tell if other members are paid members. So you pay to send messages whereas if the person you send the message to is not a paid member they will NOT get the message. So you can waste endless amounts of emotional energy and time sending messages to people who will NEVER receive it. Zoosk doesn't give a RA about this problem. Worthless site. P.S. If I could give it ZERO stars I would

Do NOT join Zoosk. I’m telling you, it’s a waste of money- really. I’ve had so many fake members contact me especially near the renewal period I ust to keep me subscribed- naturally I fell for for it I mean, I was lonely! I had to take the chance but one after another and on and on just take its toll on you after a while. You can tell the bogus ones. They’re usually new members and they have no bio. Others are so far out like, what 30 something would ever go out with. 60 something!? That’s just some of the crap I went through. Seriously- you’re better off joining another site.

It's not an exaggeration to say that 90% + of profiles on Zoosk are scammers and/or fake profiles. They do nothing to block these, in fact I believe they encourage them so as to boost their perceived numbers. Many of the remaining 10% that might be real have not been active on the site for months or years.......... If this site were free, it would be a total waste of time since so many are fake or scammers. Try to contact customer service and they are no where to be found....... Never again Zoosk, I hope you get down for fraud.

After about a week, I was contacted and began a whirlwind romance that was perfect in every way. Then came the sad story that would take $5760 to remedy. I did a background search on this person and found she did not exist in any state despite her Salt Lake City cell phone number. I dodged the scam, but it was a very painful experience just the same.

After spending 2 days just checking Zoosk out, I started getting alerts stating that someone wanted to meet me. Not being able to chat with that person to ask if indeed they had issued the request to meet, I paid for a months subscription in order to be able to communicate. After responding to the "request to meet" I found myself sending messages and getting zero response, every time. I also received one request to meet that was obviously a bot. If I could give a zero star rating for this site it would still be too generous. Everything about this site is a let down. The App is poor with a lack of options and functionality. The profiles are mostly fakes with little or no descriptions. You have to pay to access the basic of functions and don't get me started on the stupid alert messages Zoosk send you in an attempt to extract money from you. Everything about this dating site is outdated and have SCAM written all over it.

Where do I start - Administrator blocked my account, erased my profile and now has kept the remaining months worth of fees. Is frustrating because after EIGHT new gmail address and passwords I am exhausted from trying to log back on. I suspect the blockage happened after I responded to a fake Zoosk message from a "fellow member". So I have now asked for a refund....

Honestly don't waste your money on Zoosk. 95 percent of your views are fake. Zoosk generates the views not the people themselves. There are people that have been on there for years, fake profiles and men that lie thru their teeth. I've had a man who used some else's information for a profile. When I did start talking to him I asked questions and the answers he was giving me didn't match what his profile said. Needless to say he never responded back when I questioned that. How do you trust words written on a dating sight? I want honestly not bs.

My biggest complaint is the difficulty I'm having deactivating my account. I had thought I had deactivated it once, but it is still active. So, when I tried to deactivate it the 2nd time, following the directions in the app, the deactivation website wasn't working. That is, it forced me to give a reason and after I did, it still did not give me the option of deactivating. My second complaint is that I really didn't think it filtered possible matches very effectively at all.

Bought the 6-month membership and cancelled it half way. Their view reports are bogus. There are ladies who view me several times a day. Yet, they don’t respond to my messages. What is more puzzling is that when I run a search of these ladies, their profiles are nowhere to be found. The only way to view their profiles is to click the picture on the view report. Something is very fishy and Zoosk is obviously cheating.

No way of telling if profiles are of current members or ever have been members. Obviously cannot converse with someone not a member without paying more so anyone can contact you. Some views show up but don't show in alerts something askew there. No way to search for members by name & and a search will yield same results for weeks or months, then suddenly next time may be completly different profiles you have never seen.

unfortunate i spent so much money and just a few days i already realized how bad a decision this was. pay to talk, pay extra so others can talk to you without paying. not really any way to narrow down searches. whenever i try the carousel feature i didn't know it immediately sends hearts to every single person. most people don't put anything in their bios and im someone who doesnt look at faces but stories to give me an idea if i'd like them or not. it doesn't tell you how long someone has been offline or if their profile SHOULD be active. overall really bummed out

DO NOT PAY THEM ANY MONEY!!! I cannot emphasize this enough. When I tried to cancel, Zoosk sent me a message that my account was cancelled, but I could continue to use it until my subscription term was done. Ummm, that's not how a cancellation works, Zoosk. There are many fake & inactive profiles here. The final straw was after being a member for a week, getting a nice message & responding within 3 minutes. Zoosk told me that the member had cancelled their account. Sure, that makes sense. Don't waste your time & especially not your money with these thieves.

I joined the South African site and so far only mostly met men who had fake I.D's, stolen profile pictures (although photo verified by Zoosk) who appeared on Pigbusters (Scammer site) and on Romancescammers.com. After a week's chatting and wanting to meet them they need to leave town. Then has a financial crisis and needs money. Tineye Reverse Image helped me a lot to Identify some of them. I am yet to meet a real person on site. Think twice before joining. There are better sites.
