Introductory Bonus

New Chase Ink Business Preferred cardholders who spend at least $5,000 on their card within the first three months of opening their account will receive 80,000 points as a welcome bonus. This can equate to $1,000 in travel rewards when cardholders redeem through Chase Ultimate Rewards.

Reward Rates

With Chase Ink Business Preferred, cardholders can earn 3X points for every dollar spent on the first $150,000 in combined purchases made on shipping, internet, cable, phone service, and advertising on social media and search engines each account anniversary year. Cardholders can earn 1X points per dollar spent on all other purchases with no limits on the amount of points that can be earned and no expiration date for the life of the account.

Points can be redeemed for travel, cash back, gift cards, and more, and are worth 25 percent more when redeemed for travel through Chase Ultimate Rewards.

Low Annual Fee

Chase Ink Business Preferred cardholders are subject to an annual fee of $95, which is relatively low in the industry.

Free Employee Cards

With Chase Ink Business Preferred, it doesn’t cost anything to add employee cards to the account. Chase allows business owners to set individual employee spending limits and earn rewards for purchases made on employee cards.

No Foreign Transaction Fees

Chase Ink Business Preferred cards have no foreign transaction fees, so cardholders can make purchases overseas for no additional cost.

Cell Phone Protection

Business owners who pay their monthly cell phone bill with their Chase Ink Business Preferred card can get up to $600 per claim in cell phone protection against covered theft or damage for themselves and their employees who are listed on the bill. A maximum of three claims in a 12 month period are allowed with a $100 deductible per claim.
