Auto Insurance has been good and they have been helpful when we needed it. But, I have been unimpressed with their ability to listen and keep our information straight. They have called and asked to clarify the same thing over and over and it seems to be different employees calling to double check each time. We also asked them to stop sending us our statement every month in the mail but they still do. Their service has been great but their communication and listening has been a 3/10.

I’ve been a customer of State Farm for 31 years. In the beginning State Farm was the best company ever. They paid their claims on time and the process was a smooth one. However, today they outsource their claims department therefore you never know who you’re going to get to take your claim. Also many of the representatives do not have full access to State Farm database so they’re only able to help you up into a certain point. It begins to get completely frustrating when every time you call it’s a different person answers the phone. So you’re not assigned a person claims representative. Also their prices is constantly increasing which is getting outrageous. Otherwise I have State Farm auto and homeowners insurance.

My husband and I have had our cars insured thru State Farm since we were both young and first got our Drivers License. Later on we added our homes onto the policy and have continued with only State Farm for over 55 years. We find them to be reasonable in their prices as we have checked around for the coverage on our cars and homes and there was others that were cheaper, but didn’t hold the trusting value we felt we had received by staying with a company as long as we had. Both our parents also had State Farm, and our daughter and her family have it . So based on the satisfaction of claims that all of us have had over many, many years, why would we want to change? My Dad always said, if you find a company that is honest, gives great service and you can depend on them, stick with a good thing and that’s what we have done. Like I said, you may find others cheaper, but you need to have confidence in a company that has been around for over 100 years and knows exactly what and how to do business with their customers. A satisfied customer is always a HAPPY customer!

I was with State Farm for many years. THeir rates were desents and so are their coverages. The only thing is they are separate entities. So if you need help some of the people up under them will try to get you to change to their office instead of just answering a question if you can't reach yours.

I've been a customer of State Farm for 36 years. I not only have Auto Insurance with them but Homeowners, Umbrella, Rental Property & Personal Articles insurance as well as my FEMA Flood Insurance policies as well. When I've had to file any claims, for my own car or for a rental vehicle, they handle the claims through my local agent, on the phone, and made sure I got a loaner car right on the spot. Also, when I file a claim they don't try to cancel my insurance. Perhaps they don't offer the best rates, but they make up for it with GREAT customer service.

Been with state farm for 23 years. Everything is super easy. I send in my monthly premiums and if accidents or vandalism occur I make a phone call and they handle EVERYTHING else. Most I have to do is drop off and pick up my car. If they have to fight for me sometimes I have to wait until they get paid to get my deductable back but it always comes. when we were first married and had 1 car and rented an apartment we started with State Farm for our needs. as we bought more cars and our family grew we really appreciated their men who would call us and go over our needs. One man who worked for them was in his 80's and he knew even our kids by name because he cared and we felt that he cared and wanted the best for our family. when we went into the army and qualified for USSA which was cheaper for us with now homes and cars and condo's our agent with state Farm was very understanding and did not pressure us etc stay with that company. We always felt if we needed to we could go back and they would treat us as family.

I experienced state farm for the first time last year when they beat my existing company in pricing for my auto insurance but sadely they increase my insurance when it was time to renew with no fault of myown to by 38 dollars monthly. When asked why the change and if it could go down they said it was due to the climit of the country. Why should I eat the cost for issues across the country. I always thought they were high but now I know I was right. very disappointed.

I had this insurance in Alaska. It seemed to have the best rates in Alaska but quickly those rates constantly fluctuated, and I did not understand why when no claims were filed and I had no tickets. It was frustrating that every time I turned around my rate was increasing with no valid reason and I never received explanations. I like state farm because they are reasonable with pricing. I like the app features and I like that you can go on each month to pay your policy. For the office that I work with, it's at time difficult to get someone to call you back. I will say that when you do get someone they are very helpful and knowledgeable with answering your question. I mainly deal with the office folk. I have never spoken to my direct agent which is odd. I would recommend this program.

They provide an acceptable level of service but seem to want to upsell you on more than you actually need, I've had this problem with all insurance companies I have had to deal with so it's a common problem with the industry. I have used State Farm insurance since I was 16 , my whole life. I always felt I was in good hands and protected. Anytime I had to be towed for car problems, they always reimburse me all towing charges with copy of my receipt. Only one accident that I can recall and all repairs were paid for with my $500 deductible. Prices have always been fair compared to other insurance companies. My agents were always there for questions when I need them. I have never felt need to change companies. I recommend State Farm totally.

My latest success story was I was hit from behind at a stop, the car that hit me was going at least 45 MPH and hit me so hard that my car pushed 2 cars in front of me. State Farm paid me up front then went after the drivers insurance company on my behalf. The other 2 cars insurance companies tried to get me to pay for their car’s damages and State Farm told them what they could do with that thought!😄

When I wanted to change companies last year I went to an internet company that let me choose about five different companies to choose. After putting extensive information into the computer about ourselves, many companies called/ and contacted us by email. Only one sent us a letter and a real quote, you guessed it, State Farm. I was involved in a crash where I was rear-ended while at a stoplight by another car who was driving at 55mph. While I was injured, after I went to the ER, I drove my vehicle home. Due to the fact that I could not walk, State Farm had their adjuster come out to my house to look at the vehicle and paid me for damages to my vehicle within a few days. I was super impressed with the company to do that for me when they did not have to.

We had State Farm insurance for a lot of years until our agent retired. The agent that took over was unfamiliar to us, so we ended up going with another company whose agent we knew really well. As always, we both think that the cost of auto insurance is very high, so that’s a problem in the industry and also with State Farm. We were treated well by our second State Farm agent, but were not pleased with the first one we dealt with because he would quote things low Dover and over as we added cars, etc., and then the bill would come and not represent anything near the quote. We should have turned him in to the insurance board! Finally the 2nd agent with State Farm was honest and fair.
