The Good

They’ve partnered with Amazon.com so that auctioneers can use Amazon Payments in their storefronts. The Amazon logo is placed on the bottom of Atomic Mall’s website which gives users added confidence in using a secure payment system.

They have several different payment options available. Although the payment method varies from seller to seller, sellers have the ability to accept PayPal, Bitcoin, Xcoin, Amazon Payments, Visa, Mastercard, Money Orders/Cashier’s Checks, and Personal Checks.

If any browsers or bidders have questions that they need answered immediately, Atomic Mall has an intuitive Instant Chat system where they can talk to sellers in real time.

If you have sold or are still selling on other marketplaces, you can import your feedback from those other auctions and marketplaces to your Atomic Mall storefront. You can also import your listings from other marketplaces directly to your Atomic Mall storefront.

They have an AtomicUploader for sellers who have lots of items to list. This allows them to list all of their items quickly.

Your listing feeds automatically to Google, TheFind.com, and other popular search engines.

There are no duplicate listings.

The Bad

Atomic Mall has a complicated fee structure and the cost is quite steep compared to the competition. Members will be paying a good amount of fees, no matter which membership they choose to go with.

They have a smaller membership size of 170,000 registered users. This is smaller than most of their competitors.

If you are having issues with your store or account, the only way to get ahold of customer support is by email. They do have a forum and FAQ section; but for immediate answers to your questions, you will not be able to call them. They do not have a live chat function either.

They do not have a function where you can search for sellers. You can only search for items.

The Bottom Line

Atomic Mall has an excellent selling platform and an even better payment platform. The fact that they are backed by Amazon, a successful online shopping veteran, shows that they are heading in the right direction. They only have about 170,200 registered users, but this is a high number for how new to the industry they are. However, their fees are high and a little complicated. If you want to list your items on Atomic Mall, make sure you read their fee schedule and understand it completely. If you only want to buy or bid on items, you can rest assured that your seller is legitimate and your payments are secure.

I’ve been a member at Atomic Mall almost since their beginning. There is a level of service for almost everyone. You can use HTML or not in your listings – you get three free photos with each listing, and the final value fees are very reasonable. Should you choose to close your store, you are refunded anything not used for sales fees, so there is really no financial risk.

The ONLY problem I’ve had with them has to do more with changes at Google, not Atomic Mall themselves. Since Google Base was phased out, it is much harder to get traffic to your store there. As in, next to impossible. You have to self-promote quite a bit. Other than that, everything else works very well. I hope they can find another search engine to incorporate fully with, to bring more traffic to the site. If they could fix the traffic problem, it would be perfect.

I ordered a product from hottproducts4less, They took my money, never delivered the product, and have fake contact information. I contacted Atomic Mall who said they would check into it. Nothing has happened and no more contact has happened, even though I keep contacting them. Do not use this company.
