Disneyland was founded in 1955 by Walt Disney. Located in Anaheim, California, Disneyland is constantly growing and bringing in guests from all over the world. With several “kingdoms,” Disneyland has something for everyone. Magic Kingdom, Mickey’s ToonTown, Adventureland, Critter Country, Fantasyland, Frontierland, Main Street USA, New Orleans Square, and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge all inhabit Disneyland, bringing Disney characters and experiences to life.
Although Disneyland only resides in California, Disney Parks manages Disneyland (CA), Disney World (FL), Disney Parks (Tokyo), Disney Parks (Paris), Disney Parks (Hong Kong), Disney Parks (China), and the new Aulani Disney experience in Hawaii. Besides the characters and attractions, guests enjoy limitless shows, dining, and shopping options.
It was okay, obviously targeted towards younger children so going as a high-schooler there didn't seem to be as many fun options.
I have always loved Disneyland since my childhood. The memories are wonderful. I have enjoyed enjoying it with my children. The park is very clean and the environment is wonderful. It is usually very crowded which can be frustrating so you just have to go knowing that nothing will happen quickly. Love it.
The experience in Disneyland is incredible. Seeing all the rides, and people in costumes and in character is so much fun. At the end of the night when the parade is done and the fireworks are set off to say goodbye for the day, it is truly magical. I can't wait to go again sometime in the future.
What is not to love? It’s the best place on earth to take your kids. Magical every time. They provide a great experience best rides and great food.
Disneyland is one of my favorite places to go. You walk in and it smells of fresh pastries and everyone around seems happy. There is something about Disneyland that just boosts my happiness level up. Although its very expensive to go the quality of the rides is worth it. Although I wish they had cheeper options for hotels onsite because I would love to stay onsite at least once.
The theme and experience is so magical and fun! The employees are in character and so friendly and the rides are fast, safe, and fun.
I love Disneyland. There is no place on earth as magical and fun as Disney! I love that there are rides for everyone of all ages to experience! Looking forward to our next trip there this summer!
I love this place. They are the epitome off a 5 star organization. Would go there every year if it wasn't so expensive.
I love visiting Disneyland every once in a while, and really that is more than enough. The park is beautiful, has great food, and amazing rides. The lines can get a little long and of course the food and everything can be a little pricey. But overall, should be visited at least once a year if possible.
Disneyland is no doubt an awesome place. But since it has become so popular, it has become increasingly difficult to enjoy. There are too many people for such a high price. Nonetheless, favorite ride will always be Pirates of the Caribbean. It's like being in the actual movie!
Love Disney! They always create a great experience for my kiddos. Employees are always helpful and happy.
Disneyland is my favorite place in the whole world, I could spend every day there. I always have such a great time and the cast members are so amazing. There is always such yummy foods there, I try something new every time. You have to go if you get the chance.
Good customer service, workers are friendly, lines are too long. Overpriced food, but it is delicious. Not enough places to sit down
I went to Disneyland a few summers ago with my boyfriend and his family for his high school graduation. It was SO MUCH FUN. I had never been there before when I was little, and it was just as fun (perhaps even more fun) as a young adult. You can appreciate all of the little details and effort that the 'Imagineers' put into making the park a wonderful experience. I also really appreciate how CLEAN the park is!! I never liked going to amusement parks near my hometown because they were so run-down and dirty, but the Disneyland park was INCREDIBLE.
Disneyland is the BEST place to summon your inner child. Everything is happy, uplifting, and MAGICAL. My husband and I went with my family last year and he was blown away by the amount of effort that goes into every bit of the parks. Disney really knows what they are doing when it comes to pleasing the crowds.
I love Disneyland!! I went once when I was ten and because I got sick I wasn’t able to go see the princesses. So they got me signed pictures of the princesses! The workers are so accommodating and friendly and the food is amazing!!
I’ve always loved going to Disneyland because it’s not only fun, but the workers are always so nice and happy and the park is just so clean.
Awesome and loved it. Wish there were more specials and promotions. Disneyland ain't cheap!
Disneyland has fun down to a science. They are so detail oriented and really know how to make people happy! The entire family had the best time of our lives in the park! It's always very clean and everyone is so helpful and friendly. I feel like they really go out of their way to make sure people have a good time and feel the Disney magic. Greatest place on Earth! I want to go every day!
Disneyland really is the happiest place on earth! You have to go knowing you’ll wait in lines and that food is a little more expensive, but if you plan your time well you can have the best experience! I always bring some snacks and a water bottle in so I can just focus on the attractions.
even though it was pretty crowded I had an amazing time. The lines weren’t too long and the staff was very nice. The food also tasted amazing! I loved the tower of terror!
Long lines and too many rides not operating. Too expensive. Food was pretty good but over priced. Great place for kids. Not so much for grandpa.
disneyland is so fun and enjoyable! it’s super family friendly. they have so many options for rides, from super big ones to little kid ones! so fun!
Disneyland is definitely one of the happiest places on earth. The staff are always smiling and are always there to answer any questions anyone may have whether it be for directions, where food kiosks are, or what the best rides are.
It was terrible, so overrated. The castle was not as big as expected, everything is over priced because California is controlled by liberals. And the lines are too long
My family LOVES Disneyland! They love it even more the older my kid’s get. Last time we went in the “off” season and were able to run from ride to ride. The app is super handy to schedule the fast pass times and save waiting time! We are planning another trip soon.
DIsneyland was such a great experience. The services were catering to all of the customers, regardless of age. It is very kid friendly and has something amusing to all age groups. The tickets to enter are a bit pricey but you definitely get what you pay for.
Disney was amazing, and the firework show is so cool. Such a great staff and atmosphere
It's a fun place to go if you are like 14 and under or you don't like super scary rides. Or I suppose if you really like Disney. Disney world is really a place for children and this has being my experience, at a certain age you really don't feel the magic. I go to theme parks mostly for the rides and Disneyland's rides just don't do it for me. Plus it's not worth the money. Truly its not.
Always reminds me of my childhood. The rides and characters are cool and fun. I love every bit of the experience here
Truly the “HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH”. It’s is magical!! The customer service, friendliness of staff, rides, food etc are the best there is.
amazing actors and amazing rides, the entire park is an experience everyone needs to have
So much fun. New galaxy's edge lightsabers are super cool. The cantina was pretty crowded.
One of the most magical experiences you could ever have is going to Disney. The whole trip is a thrill. Although I do suggest doing research on when it will be the least crowded. Sometimes the lines can be really long even with the fast pass.
Is there anything better? Any joy purer? No. Disney is known as the "happiest place on earth" for a reason. If you don't like long lines or being claustrophobic then maybe this isn't the place for you. BUT the time spent there is always a blast.
I have been to Disneyland with my friends a couple of times. Even though we are adults, it's just as easy to have a magical time as the little kids! And the churros are to die for! I love Disneyland with my whole heart!
Disneyland is the cleanest and happiest place on earth. The customer service is over the top. My son lost his baseball hat and was crying. A Disney employee took him to the nearest store and had him pick out a brand new hat. That was unexpected but so kind. It made his entire trip.
The Disney Parks represent the worst of capitalism. The fees are outrageous and there is zero consideration for the wait times on all of the attractions. I understand that a way of dealing with this crowd control issue is fast pass but even that is obnoxious! How about this Disney? DON'T ALLOW THAT MANY PEOPLE IN THE PARKS ON A DAILY BASIS!!!!!!
went on the new Stars Wars ride and even though the lines were massive, I was queued and was able to enjoy the ride! there's always rides for people of all ages and rides are safe and very well kept.
I had went to Disneyland recently and I enjoyed it. Although the food prices were expensive I enjoyed the rides overall.
Disneyland is one of my favorite destinations on the planet. There is something there for everyone of all ages that everybody can enjoy. The service and quality of the park is unmatched, and it’s atmosphere and magical feeling is unbeatable.
Disneyland is so fun! Fun rides and fun atmosphere. You will enjoy it if you are 5 or 85.
Disneyland is quite expensive. And they keep amping your the prices and I ain’t about it, great for kids, but not worth the price. Put it towards a text book or tuition for college. Would not recommend.
Fun experience. Family oriented. Food amazing. Great escape from life. Love the ease of travel to and from on the trains. Awesome memories. Hotel phenomenal.
Much smaller than Disney world but still as much fun. They could have easily have a lot more rides still great.
Love Disneyland but think it is overpriced. It cost my husband and I $300 to enter the park and we are both 68 years old
I had so much fun at my last visit to Disneyland! The workers worked through the big crowd with a great attitude and friendly personalities! Food was amazing and was one of my favorite parts of my stay!
I love Disneyland. Very clean and well maintained. They provide large lockers and a picnic area just outside the park that was perfect for lunch and dinner time.
We love Disneyland! It’s expensive but my family loves it. The magic is there especially for little kids!
I’ve been to Disney land many times, most of the time I go with my grandparents and we enjoy the friendly atmosphere and the fun rides.
