Inpatient and Outpatient Help
When you think of alcohol addiction centers and programs, you probably think of going to a facility for a few months, detoxifying and spending time away from everything in a different environment where you can focus on recovery. Transformations does indeed offer this type of therapy in the form of its inpatient treatment. The treatment uses both individualized and group-setting care to help patients. Transformations employs credentialed professionals who use tried and true measures to help patients overcome alcoholism.
However, if you or your loved one would respond better to an outpatient treatment program, Transformations has that option as well. The outpatient treatment is a three-phase program that uses the intervention of small groups, psychiatric help and therapists to help get patients back on track. Many outpatient program users have previously completed the inpatient program and are looking for continued help.
Easy Admissions Process
Transformations believes that enrolling in either its inpatient program or outpatient program should be simple and not overly time consuming. After all, you as the patient or as the caregiver of someone in need have more important issues to tackle than the administrative enrollment processes.
At Transformations, you simply must make a phone call, and a courteous staff member will verify insurance and walk you through other enrollment procedures. The process takes as little as 30 minutes. Then, a staff member will meet with you for 15 to 20 minutes and conduct a screening appointment to make sure Transformations is right for you.
Inclusion of Family Support
Having someone in your corner, cheering you on, is essential for a successful recovery of alcohol addiction. Staff members and doctors will do their part to help you on the road to recovery, but Transformations also believes in using your established support system to get you through this difficult time.
At Transformations, your family and loved ones will be invited to the facility to visit you one weekend a month. Not only will your family get a firsthand look at the program, but they will be involved in your activities while they are with you. Family Weekend also helps family members in the healing process.

Some Amenities Lack Quality
While the end goal of any alcohol rehab facility and treatment program should be to help the patient overcome his or her addiction to alcohol, other ancillary features need to be considered when evaluating any center. The quality of food at Transformations, for example, has not been reviewed favorably in general by current and former patients. This shouldn’t necessarily cause you to shy away from going to Transformations, but it’s worth noting to help you be prepared.
It’s not uncommon to find alcohol rehab centers that allow pets. In fact, some patients find their pets to be therapeutic in helping overcome their addictions; however, Transformations does not permit patients to bring their pets along with them. If this is a deal-breaker for you, then you’ll have to look elsewhere for your treatment.
Residents in Charge of Cleaning
Some treatment facilities employ housekeeping to take care of the cleaning and upkeep of room. Patients at Transformations, though, won’t have this luxury. Be prepared to work hard and take care of keeping your room looking nice. Some patients may have no problem shouldering this responsibility, but it may be a turn-off for some.
