The Good

  • Multiple treatment options
  • Medically assisted detox
  • Whole-person treatment programs

Multiple Treatment Options

Endeavor House offers a wide variety of treatment options each of which include a clinical evaluation, individualized treatment plan, individual, group and family counseling, medical and psychological services, a nutritionist evaluation and dietary planning, educational classes on substance use disorders, twelve-step meetings, life skills development training, recreational therapy, and more:

  • Inpatient rehabilitation
  • Intensive outpatient program
  • Partial hospitalization
  • Residential treatment program
  • Routine outpatient counseling
  • Transitional living program

Medically Assisted Detox

After an initial evaluation, Endeavor House has a medically assisted detoxification program for those who need it. This program includes around the clock supervision by a medically trained staff and the use of comfort medications to minimize the discomfort and reduce the symptoms associated with the withdrawal process.

Whole-Person Treatment Programs

Endeavor House uses programs that treat the whole person and not just the addiction. They offer extensive encouragement so each client can help maintain control, family counseling and sessions, education for improving problem solving and healthy living, and more. They also offer supportive therapy groups for safe sharing. And this is in addition to one-on-one counseling.

The Bad

  • Minimal payment options
  • Treatment costs not disclosed
  • No aftercare or alumni programs

Minimal Payment Options

Endeavor House does accept some insurance, but not Medicare or Medicaid. Additionally, they don’t appear to offer any type of financial assistance programs other than to say that they do accept private pay options for those who are uninsured or underinsured. Although, they do state that they will develop a financial plan that works for you. So it would be worth your time to contact them to see exactly what their financial plan entails.

Treatment Costs Not Disclosed

Unfortunately, Endeavor House does not publicly disclose their treatment costs. And while that’s not unusual, especially when a program involves customized care options, it would be more beneficial to potential clients if they at least offered some sample pricing, etc. This would help people make a more educated decision about whether or not any of their treatment programs are even an option for them without them having to take the time to make contact.

No Aftercare or Alumni Programs

Most rehabilitation programs offer some type of aftercare programs to help ensure greater success of their clients. In most cases, people who have completed a rehabilitation program will continue to need support to help them through any hurdles they might encounter. Additionally, an alumni program is just another avenue for like-minded people to get together and support each other. Therefore, we feel that Endeavor House should consider adding one or both of these features to their current program.

The Bottom Line

Endeavor House and the Pinnacle Treatment Centers family appear to be effective, reputable programs. They offer a wide variety of treatment options, a medically assisted detoxification program and they focus on helping the whole person versus just the addiction alone. However, there are a few areas we feel they could use a little improvement. We would like to see them work on adding a financial assistance program, give some examples of their pricing and to add aftercare and an alumni program as part of their offerings.
