Austrian airline is Austria’s largest aviation carrier and is part of the Lufthansa Airline group in Europe. Traveling mostly to and from European destinations, Austrian airline provides their passengers with comfortable, convenient flying.

Sun Country Airlines, the Hometown Airline, has proven their ability to work hard and evolve as needed. The company was founded in 1982 in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota. Starting out with only 33 employees meant lots of serious ambition and hard work was demonstrated to help the company grow—in addition to their regular duties, flight attendants prepared meals and pilots updated manuals! Their efforts paid off quickly, and the company was profitable after only six weeks. In 1999, Sun Country doubled its fleet and its workforce and became a scheduled carrier. Over time this small company has continued to blossom. Today their services include many features that the big name airlines offer, including a rewards program (UFly) and travel insurance (UFlex).
Air Europa was created in 1986 and began operating scheduled domestic flights in 1993. Two years later, in 1995, flights were established to London and New York, which opened Air Europa to the scheduled international flight market. Within a year, the company operated over 750 scheduled flights each week. Later, in 2005, Air Europa became the first Spanish airline to make direct flights to China. By the end of 2006 the company had acquired 37 aircraft and had carried over nine million passengers. Today Air Europa’s fleet is made up of 45 aircraft—14 Airbus, 20 Boeing and 11 Embraer—and is considered to be one of the youngest fleets in the world.
Asiana Airlines was established in February of 1988 with the management ideology, “maximum safety and customer satisfaction through service.” After being in business for 27 years, the airline has grown into a global airline. The company operates 86 planes in their current fleet, which is made up of Airbus and Boeing aircraft. They offer over 100 routes in 93 cities around the world.
Dragonair has few destinations and high ticket prices. Their flights are often late and they have only been in business for 30 years. They have standard in-flight services and baggage restrictions as well as a standard boarding process.
Etihad Airways is a very fast growing airline company. They have only been in business for a few short years but have quickly grown into the one of the Middle East’s popular airlines. Their goal is to be a truly twenty-first-century global airline, challenging and changing the established conventions of airline hospitality.
