I have had my panels on for over 2 years now. They did the installation quickly and helped us jump through the hoops but when I went on the roof from the front side I noticed they bent in my rain gutter on the front. A picture taken and sent to the salesman. I never did get a response. I also talked to them about the amount of production as I live in an area where I just wanted a push for my overall electric bill with no excess back to the power company. We have not had a push year to date. I spoke with them some time back and they said the # of panels that were put up were sufficient - not really as we still pay to the utility every month. One thing I would like to mention is that I haven't talked to them again for a while on this issue. On other issues such as the Dashboard they put me on seems to be fine. I did have more than one company come and bid the job and they did the best job for us.

From the beginning to the end, Blue Raven was transparent, helpful, and even fun (yes, I said it!) to work with. The salesman was very passionate and explained the options and process very clearly. It only took 8 weeks from signing to installation and the crews were through in one day. My system is producing more than what they guaranteed and my husband and I have another 12 months of free power as part of their seasonal promotion. Could not recommend Blue Raven enough.

This is a follow-up to a previous review. Once again I want to say my overall experience with Blue Raven is generally positive except for the two issues I have reviewed. When discussing solar options with Blue Raven representatives I expressed a desire to have little or no electric bill after solar panel installation. I was told that 14 panels were all my roof would accommodate. I have since spoken to a neighbor with the same model home (Hamilton model by Ivory builders). He has over 30 panels installed and has virtually no electric bill, while my bill is $132.00 per month. I was willing to pay for more panels had I been told I could do so. Perhaps an additional number of panels could be installed without an exorbitant cost?

Our design team will opt to not put panels in unproductive areas seeing as they won't return your investment. With different directions or unique obstructions (trees or neighboring homes), the available panel placement will vary. The customer experience and quality of our solar system with Blue Raven exceeded my expectations. We met with 3 other solar companies before making our decision. We are saving a lot of money every month and we received the federal tax credits to pay down our system! Our neighbor went with a different company and he always tells me he wishes he had gone with Blue Raven. The black on black panels and interior conduit look so good compared to other systems we see on people’s roof! Highly recommend Blue Raven Solar!

I have been happy throughout the whole process, from our first sit down to the intstal and then turning on the system! After our initial sit down I called my consultant up and told him that we will not be going Solar at this time. The way he handled that info and what he had to say, had me calling him back about a week later, telling him we were ready to move forward with Blue Raven. Blue Raven was not the only Solar company we sat down with but I am very pleased we had chosen them.

I have been very happy with Blue Raven Solar. They did a great job explaining the process and getting everything started. Customer Service was very helpful any time I called. My only issue was once my panels were installed, nothing happened for two months until I called to follow up. I guess the power company had come out and need my breaker box updated. I understand that Rocky Mountain power isn't the best communicator, but I would think that Blue Raven would have some sort of process in place to follow up with me or the power company after a period of time of no contact. Once I called to check on the progress, the problem was quickly identified and resolved and now I am up and running!

I live in Washington state and they designed a solar power system that is able to give me over 100% of my power needs. Super professional solar reports and system proposal. Getting solar from Blue Raven Solar was so easy. The sales consultant got me pre-approved in 2 minutes for financing at 1.99%. They do everything, process permits, HOA paperwork, schedule city electrical inspection, coordinate with the utility company to change the meter for solar, and the sales consultant who always answered or return my calls was also the project manager which was helpful in getting any project status updates right away.

Blue Raven did a good job of estimating how much solar we needed/could produce. 6 months in, we're producing more energy than using in the house. Their customer service has been great. There was a couple of issues with install--the roof inspection said our roof was fine, but when the crew showed up they saw some missing shingles that caused us to hold off and replace the roof (side note, insurance covered). That pushed back the install, but the install itself went smoothly. So I'd probably go with 4.5 stars. They also had an incentive program that covered the first 18 months of payments and they've been covering that with 100% efficiency.

BLUE RAVEN IS TERRIBLE! Most incompetent company we have ever tried to work with. We started a project to install solar on our home in May of 2023. We paid a ~$30 k deposit about a month later. As of September 2023 (been 4 months), they still have not scheduled an installation date. Instead, we keep getting excuses about permits not being approved. However, when we contact our City, our City says everything was approved, but Blue Raven failed to pay the required application fees. When we reached out to BR about this, they promised to make the payment that day (either electronically or by driving to our City offices). Of course, Blue Raven didn't follow through. Instead, they keep making excuses.

This company is totally unprofessional. The door-to-door appointment setter dropped the names of several neighbors, so we grudginly agreed to do a quick (30 minutes or less) review of a preliminary report they would prepare for us. The first appointment they scheduled was a 8 pm on a weeknight; the sales rep called at 8:36 pm, stating that his previous appointment ran late, and that he was still about an hour away. We rescheduled for 5 pm on a Saturday. Saturday was another no-show, but this time they outdid themselves by not even bothering to call. If this is they way they act before they even try to earn my business, I'm out.

Would give 0 if I could, salesman provides you with wrongful information just to get you in, then rush you to sign in, they told us about great promotion that just ended but they can still owner it if you sign within 24hr, when you sign everything they just ghost you! Our energy bill is triple now, we used to pay $120 now it’s $370, what a great deal, they don’t tell you anything about hidden fees and additional cost. Stay away from this company, working with legal team to teach this company a lesson as lucky we have recordings of what we were promised by salesman. Good luck everyone and be safe out there! Don’t trust sales people and do your own research.

Rather than usage, our team designed the system based on the average residential usage for the square footage of your home. Can't recommend, you don't get all the advantages they claim you will, like your home value does not increase, and you do not generate more electricity in summer due to more sunshine because you also use more due to a/c. . Had trouble getting them to put critter guards on, after birds were a big problem due to solar panels.

installation was a nightmare. it was 6 months from signing to install, which they did wrong and had to redo. it was then 2 months from install till the panels got turned on, at which time one set of panels wasn't connected correctly so wasn't working at all. it was an additional 4 months from that point to get the system fully functioning. i was constantly harrassing them to get the next step scheduled and redone, and no one i talked to ever had any answer or idea for what the hold-up/problem was.

Outstanding service. Had a problem with Duke's meter and how it had been connected. They found the problem and fixed it (nearly $400 in parts) and covered the cost even though it had nothing to do with them just to make sure the system worked properly.

All staff were profession and courteous, that includes the sales person, office staff I spoke with, electrician, and installers. Can hardly wait for the next steps like city inspector and PGE new meter so the system can be turned on.
